They made is easy on ATL by relying on 5 yard passes, coupled with the fact their D couldn't handle Juilo and the run game.

Their defense has never been good. It has been adequate while Dallas could pound the ball and Romo could drive down the field in the air with ease. Take both of those away, for the most part, and the defense is exposed. And, take into account Dallas has a weak secondary and Julio Jones just went off.

Someone in my league had both Freeman and Randle starting today. Thank god I am not going against him today.

Are you referring to Todd Herremans perhaps? Yeah, the talk around town is that Herremans looks "washed up." That is REALLY bad news because he was the only addition to the offensive line. Our brilliant GM was on the case though, channeling Matt Millen and using our #1 pick on a WR instead of addressing holes that needed to be filled.

Yeah, Herremans. Lol, it seems your GM values O-lineman as much as Chip does. I still see the Colts in the playoffs, and maybe even the Eagles. If so, early exits for both teams, though. Andrew Luck deserves better.

No. Dallas's offense and a bit of luck hid the deficiencies of the defense. Just like last year. Dallas shoulda lost to the Giants who hung up 26 on them. And the Giants suck. Philadelphia was trying to see how many of their own toes they can shoot.

Then Dallas was up against the Falcons who have a very good offense and got shredded. Not having Romo really hurt.

Yea, I'd say Romo is a top-tier QB but they still put up 28 points, that should win you most ball games. It's karma for JJ jumping on the "I love Goodell" bandwagon"..

Dallas loses because their defense has been terrible for awhile. Two seasons ago they were the worst in NFL history. They haven't improved their secondary and their interior is decent, at best.

Dallas wins games because they can run the ball AND have Romo who can beat most defenses in the air. This is the same offense (with an improved o line) that nearly kept up with Manning during his record breaking year.

Thing is, if Dallas rolls into town I DO NOT want to see Romo out of the game for ANY tic-tac suspension, unless he broke a known rule that called for suspension (IE: failed drug test) then he deserves to be on the field helping the Cowboys. I'm on the record as believing Brady DID know that balls were tampered with but the results of the tests on the AFCCG were inconclusive at best. I have nothing against the Cowboys or their fans, they usually play competitive, exciting games. I do take issue with certain team owners who thought Goodell was beating up on the Pats and loving it.

It's unreal they could not at least be competitive for their home opener. I DVR'd the game so I'll watch it later but Philbin has to be in deep trouble at this point. Losing to Jax was bad enough but to pull a no-show at home will not be acceptable to an owner who just paid $116 million for a defensive lineman and they give up 41@ home, ouch.
