Cam just getting battered. Lots of helmet to helmet no calls.

Uh, that big hit was called, but it was offset by intentional grounding.

That was the second time in the game that I saw Newton on the receiving end of a helmet to helmet hit. The first one wasn't called. Happened right as he ran the play out of bounds. On the hit late in the game with offsetting penalties, I can't understand how a personal foul equally negates an intentional grounding penalty. Especially when it involves a helmet to helmet hit. Not a Newton fan, but I don't like to see these flagrant and violent hits on a defenseless player.

Some dirty stuff going on in last night's game. I like the idea that if a player is blasted in the head, he should be taken out for a least one series by rule. I don't think they should get into the business of ejecting players for head to head hits as intent would be hard, if not impossible, to judge, but I'm fine with fines afterwards.

I can also see the argument that Cam is being treated like Shaq and Lebron.

They just had to kick off from the 20. And, it ended up not mattering because Janikowski is a fucking monster and kicked it to the 5 anyway.

And, Saint's rookie kicker misses a 61 yard FG for the game. Tough break, he had the leg, just went wide.

Good opening drive for the Cowboys. Would have preferred a TD, obviously, but Dak looked great. Cowboys may not be incredibly hopeless this season.

I thought that was gonna cost them the game, but Janikowski basically got all it back. What a great win. I can't remember the Raiders winning in circumstances like that in close to 20 years.
