office 2013 uninstall unwanted parts

SO i just installed it after getting it from the HUP deal. and i cant figure out how to uninstall all the stuff i wont use, i didn't get a custom install option and the uninstall does not seem to let me choose to uninstall anything separately

i really don't need access and outlook and anything besides Word, Excel and PPT

under programs and features select office 2013, click "change" at the top and you should get an option to add or remove features. from there you can select which components to remove/keep

wtf? When I click change it just asks me if I want to repair?

when i click "Change" i get a popup asking me to repair, Quick or Full

Quick just started doing something. Will try full when this is done

edit: full just reinstalls it

on Win7 if that matters

Yeah, this sucks, I also only need Word, Excel and PPT, other stuff is useless. Especially SkyDrive Pro is annoying as it gets into contextual menus - I see on the internet that there's a registry hack to remove this though.

Uninstall and reinstall and this time select what you want to install. I was able to customize at install time.

The home use deal may depend On the agreement your company has with Microsoft. If you are getting this thru someone else's agreement that may be your problem.

There is no choice to select what I want to install. It just starts installing.

Oh I just realized that I didn't install from the exe from the hup site. I installed from an iso. So try the one linked by berry

when you first installed it didn't you see option for custom install where you can install what you want? i am using 2013 and only installed what i wanted

I think it doesn't apply to HUP, at least for some of us. There was no setup.exe that I ran, the installation was from a website and the only customization choice I had was to select 32-bit or 64-bit Office. It may be that I missed the option somewhere, but I doubt it because I always prefer to download installer locally and then run it, and I did not see such an option. Not even an option "where to install".

no no option at the start, the HUP installer is a small 762k file that just actively installs it over the net

when i downloaded it form the HUP site there were only options for 32 or 64 bit

Basically, you have to sign up for the "evaluation program" version from TechNet, then you can download the regular install ISO/IMG file, then run the setup to customize it like normal, and just give it your HUP key when you register it.
