How good is this for gaming? Right now I'm gaming with a 1901FP and I'm content with it, but if this is better, I'll pick one up tomorrow. Any known issues to watch out for?

Guild Wars in widescreen sounds really tempting to me.

They sometimes honor CC and other competitor coupons if there is a store nearby. Its part of their low-price guarantee - you can find it on their website. Its YMMV as it seems to be at managers discretion. If you can do it, this deal becomes smokin!

It is supposed to be B&M also - check the local flier. I'd like to get one myself but I already 'stole' a Samsung from them in September and would feel guilty if I got such a hot deal from them again so soon ... well that and I've spent all my play money cornering the RAM market

EDIT: FWIW - its probably worth it to go with a B&M deal if you can find one. With the Samsung I mentioned above, the had a 30% off discontinued(?) monitors sale about a week after I bought mine - got a price adjustment which made that monitor pretty much free.... thats right, free - now you know why I feel guilty

Besides obviously being bigger, how would this compare to my aging 1800fp im using now? its getting kinda long in the tooth, but seems all the deals for newer monitors are for lower quality panels.

Just bought it and it looks great, my local OD had 7 (in the back, the employee did not even realize that they had arrived until checking their computer, the employee said "WOW that is one hell of a deal." when he saw that it could be had for $200.

I like it better than my ancient dell 2001FP.

I just went and purchased two. They are going to come out to be roughly 150$.

$269.99 - $40 CC Coupon = $229.99 - $70 Rebate = $159.99 + $10 GC for rewards . Can't go wrong with two 22" Widescreen LCD's for $300.

Are you sure the coupon won't invalidate the rebate?

I have no complaints about the pair I bought 6 months ago, but I don't game. IMO, this is a no frills lcd giving you a decent screen, lot of desktop area and a low price. Can't go wrong at this price.

I got one and I must say that I'm impressed with it (it's my first LCD). You have to get it at just the right height and angle for optimum viewing, but aside from that it's awesome. No dead pixels and very little backlight bleed. Can't beat it for ~$200.00.

Yup . If they do, I just need to give them a call to enable the rebate. I had to do this once when I applied for rebates on some HD's that I purchased. I have been purchasing many things using coupons (and PMing competitors) at OD for quite some time and have gotten every rebate check, so I have a pretty good hunch that it'll work again.

Is that native resolution or can it actually go higher than that? I expect higher resolutions from this as it is a 22"!

Every 22" ever made is 1680x1050, no reason to expect higher.

Its just that my sister's E207WFP can do 1680x1050 too. I mean, WTF? Two extra inches and I get nothing out of it?

I like how everyone forgets about local sales tax with B&M deals like this. Here in Minnesota, I can expect to add an extra $17.55 to the total just for sales tax.
