Thanks to the original poster i've saved over 100 dollars.

This was truly a hot deal, not like mail in rebates (i hate MIR).

I purchased like 8 full boxes of OD paper, 25 bucks each carton, purchased 4 sets of 2, so each carton came out to 15 dollars.

I find this to be HOT because paper its something our company uses a lot of. I should have picked up some HP toner cartridges though!

anyways, so i saved 10 dollars per box which equals 80 bucks just on my paper purchases!!

For me, one of the HOTTEST deals so far, we shop at OD sooooo much!!

And check this out, they even accepted this on one of the delivery items, not INSTORE.

Today when I went into OD, the CSR said no. she said I had always used it something like 5 times already. I showed her that it only says 1 per visit. Then I turned around and looked back into the store and said rather loudly 'GET ME THE MANAGER!' The manager comes walking up and I said that the coupon only says limit 1 per visit and that they need to publically post if it's a limit of one time use. Which they won't do cause all the non-computer people will see it and want to use it. The manager approved it cause I think she just wanted me to settle down and leave.

At OM, their corporate has sent down a letter saying the coupon cannot be used on sale items anymore. Hehe...

In the last week and a half, I've used this coupon to score 2 40x12x48 CD-RW Drives, the Visioneer 5800 scanner, 256MB PC133 Memory, 100pk CDRs, 6 outlet surge protector, and miscellaneous office supplies for about $30 TOTAL after tax. This was in multiple deals, obviously. My local OfficeMax rocks. No problems whatsoever... the cashiers all said 'no way' to the coupon, but the managers came out and said 'of course!'. One even joked with me about becoming an ebay reseller.

As of today, I have over $350 in outstanding rebates. And about 450 blank CDRs. No what the heck am I gonna do with 450 blank CDRs?

Well, so far I got in on the Maxtor 40 gig 7200 rpm drive for $99 - $10 I.R. - $20 coupon - $30 rebate - $30 rebate = $19, the Memorex 40x12x48 (flashed to Lite-On 48x12x48) for $69 PMed to CompUSA for $59 - $20 coupon - $20 rebate = $19 and a LinkSYS cable modem for $100 - $20 coupon - $100 MIR = +$20. So in the end, all three will end up costing me a total of $20. Gotta love Anandtech!

Why does OD/OM get so angry for people using these coupons? Are they legit? If so, then if they don't want people to use them, just don't allow internet printable coupons to be taken! If they are so fed up with these coupons, why keep accepting them? Ban them from the whole chain of stores and tell your managers and employees!

I am not sure. the coupons stated that on them. However, 2 different cashiers rang up both coupons. I even made another copy of the $20 off on their copy machine.

I tried to get the manager to let me also use it on the Polaroid 40/12/48 burner to bring that down to about $20, but she wouldn't go for it.

I also got in on the leather chair deal.
If you want to get the camera, best call ahead to see if they still have any, limited to stock on hand, they just had a couple left.

That is what I was wondering, why the hell would they state in their policy to accept competitors printable coupon and then being pissed about it when someone comes in and use it, in othwr words, comes in several times "giving business" to OM and they got so pissed about it.....there is no logical reason at all to this, after all, the managers and the clerks weren't the one that is paying those rebates......OR probably they are so jealous of us since they can't get on those deal themself due to the fact they are employees. Damn...now whenever I walked in OM, they just gimme somekind of pissed of looks....I am not going to that one anymore...freaking old lady
