Office Max: crazy hotness hp 2410 all-in-one as replacement for 2110 refurb

OfficeMax has 2110 refurb on the front page of their add for $149.99 the which is a decent deal, unfortunatly for them most stores it seems dont have any in stock. My local store started the sale with none. According to the add planner, they are supposed to substitute the 2410 for the same price. This is a $299.99 machine you will walk out the door with for 149.99, HOT i'd say, HOT!

//Updated, I traded my new Epson cx5400(149.99) straight accross for one last night. I like it better already. My local store only had a few left. Evidentally they are ringing up at the registers for 149.99 because at my OfficeMax they didnt even need a managers override to change the price to 149.99.

How did you trade it? Just an exchange?

yea i returned my cx5400 and "purchased" the 2410. But as they were the same price, it was essentially just an exchange.

I don't think this is a sub... it is listed in their add (the 2110 is pictured) there are two item numbers, the second is the 2410. Just grab the 2410 and take it to the register, it should ring up as 149.99. (if not, show them the add)

This machine is out on most OM. No order, no raincheck b/c of while supply last. Even I work at OM can't get one. There are ways but too much of a hassle so there will be other deals.

Fortunately for you.... they aren't refurbs . As of Monday night my entire district was sold out of them, but the 2410 is not discontinued and as such might return to stores before the sale ends on Saturday. If that doesn't work, you might want to head in and ask if you can have one delivered. If they are out of stock, you should be able to place a back-order and lock yourself in at the advertised price. I feel like this is a really hot deal but already satisfied with the ink costs of my Canon MP730. Retail employees might want to explore the $200 of rebates available through infolab too.

Shut out in East Hanover, NJ. They said they had 4 in stock, but then seached the store for 15 minutes and couldn't find it. Then they offered to let me order one. They were OOS on the 2410 in the warehouse as well, and offered the 6110 as a substitute. I didn't bite as I wasn't familiar with the specs. Tried to pry a 2510 out of them for $250, but they wouldn't go for it.

Oh well.

Was this really a deal? I called/searched all my 5 local OMs. None of them have the 2210 or 2410 in stock. It's funny because they had "stacks" of those in stock slips for ALL the other printers. It almost feels like they (OM stores) pulled the slips from the shelves?

Not possible to order. Ordermax has put an error 2.6 on it which means no order.

This is not true buddy. The slips does not mean they are instock. It's for information only.
