i bought the dvd today.
i actually accidentally bought the "fullscreen" version and had to exchange it for "widescreen" . there were a TON of the fullscreen and they were almost out of the widescreen. i dont understand why they even stock those, who buys them. its funny that everyone at best buy was talking about it because they had a huge display with the boxed sets on it.
anyways, i found it funny that i went there on my lunch break, and random other office workers were buying copies. some multiple. you could tell because everyone had a random lanyard or waist office security card. anyway, the special edition stuff look really crappy.
i mean as far as i am concerned being an office worker and all...
mug with lumberg on it - didnt look too nice, if it was initech then maybe, i can by very "initech" like mugs with my own company name on them, and i'd love an initech one
post its - if you are an office worker there ar ea million of these in a supply room
pen/pencil - looked crappy, just red with word office space on them. again supply room
mouse pad - moust pad looked real cheap. not a cloth one, crap plastic top one, the kind that usually will peel in the corners eventually
stapler - looked crappy, looked much cheaper looking than the black office depot stapler i have , again supply room.
so from an office worker point of view, the supplies are worthless, and the mug being just a picture of lumberg basically sucks. save your $10 and get the dvd by itself, the deleted scenes are worth it alone, along with the commentary. i havent tried the dvd-rom extras yet, but i'm hoping there are pdfs of a TPS report on there.
