Usually the mail-in-rebate will show up in your cart, but when I put my config w/ 128MB, I don't see the MIR in my cart. Had they changed their online ordering system?

AFAIK this is a featured system. There is no MIR involved. All systems with MIR are ultimately more expensive and have less features

Dell Rebate fineprint also specifically excludes Dimension 2400 celeron systems - so don't waste your time.

I'm pricing systems for a friend, I really hate the way Dell screws around with pricing. They raise prices and offer rebates, lower prices and remove rebates. LCDs are way overpriced when adding to systems unless system is overpriced. They sure do work the pricing game.

$399 is not bad at all, just go for the FREE RAM + FREE HDD upgrade and it's a decent system for those loved ones that are not techies.

I got one for my dad. He wanted one like I got a couple months ago, the 4600 deal, but he doesn't need the extra video, and I think most everything else is the same, except twice the hard drive and twice the memory, for under $370 shipped! Including XP home, and Office XP. Not to bad!
