i bought the DVDROM and DVD-R last sunday, hoping to do a return/rebuy

unfortunately, opened and tested the DVD-R only to find out it doesn't seem to power up

see, im down in San Diego, and ive found the LA Time thinking that would be the best place. i quickly scanned through and saw no pull out ads, just a few printed here and there, you think i missed it in there somewhere, or they just didnt bother sending LA ads down here?

i mean, is there a big section of pull out ads that probably was never sent, or could i have missed this pull out?

My local OM never has any loss leader on sale within 5 minutes of opening. I think they hide the stuff until the sale is over. I think the CDRW deal may be the best Black Friday deal on a burner (since Verbatim is well regarded, the others seem to be $10 cheaper, but aren't great brands).

Hehe...Guess they have their webmaster running around silly and forgot to include a blank or redirect index.html. Then again if the fool had a clue, his .HTTACCESS rule would have taken care of that

Went to store at 7:00 AM and OSS on DVD. Probably had less then ten. Came home and ordered on line at sale price. Just call 1-800-283-7674. Should have stayed in bed.

It looks like it is still available online; however, only the $25 rebate is shown. Any idea where the $20 can be found?

You can't be serious! My old vcr remote has an eject button on it and is about 6 to 7 years old.

As for the dvd burner, if it is the A04, this is a very hot deal! I have this drive and it rips backups with no problems. Btw, I paid almost twice this price on a hot deal back when the drive had just come out!
