The CD-RW is either Khypermedia or Microadvantage.

Even though they're mentioned (I think) in another thread, 30pk Fuji CDr. I was at OM today in Memphis and they had quite a large display of these "Made in Japan" (TY?).

Also:
64 MB Lexar USB drive = 29.99-10 IR-10MIR = $9.99

Thanks. No deals on the cameras that I'm looking at though (Canon A70/A80 or something similar)

They had a deal on the A70 once or twice during the holiday season. Even then, the deals were few and far between.

Personally, I'm going to wait until next weeks ad comes out with the 250 gig WD and see what kind of price that comes to after rebate.

It's been good for me. Bought one for Xmas. Very compact, runs on two AA batteries that last a good while (I use rechargeables). Indoor flash pictures are adequate. Daylight shots are very nice. Digital (4x), not optical zoom. 8mb of memory built-in -- you'll need to buy an SD or MMC card for it.

I saw some of the pics from one of those cameras last night at Officemax, they looked pretty damn good, printed on a C84 Epson printer...although when I asked the d00d if they had any in stock he said "No"...oh well...bait and switch...

the 250 gig hd is only a $50 rebate. it would cost $239.99 - $50 rebate = $189.99, unless om does a $50 instant on this as well next week and then it be $139.99 AR. The 160gig is a far better deal, I hope its fast though, my last wd , the 120BB 2mg cache one was slow.

Don't think so, burning dog... also, FYI, Sams Club has the 160 gig drive for $119 out the door if your OM pricematches. YMMV, as usual, but could save ya another $10

The newest drives over 137 gb don't come with a controller card or a 3 year warranty. I think it's because Microsoft fixed the problem reading drives over 137 gb with the SP1 patch.

I'm pretty much screwed this week for ordering over the phone and using a coupon. I've tried calling 3 times today and none of the CSR's will take a coupon. To make matters worse, the last time I hung up on a CSR, she told me that I've tried calling 3 times now and she thinks that all the CSR's will NOT take a coupon. I told her that if that was true, why am I still trying to call? I didn't want to elaborate and tell her that I have been able to use a coupon every week for the past two month (depending on what CSR I got a hold of).

The funny thing is that I think that it's not working for many people because for the first time in 2 months, I've been able to get right through to a OM CSR. Usually, I have to wait for at least 15-20 minutes if not longer.

Edit: I just checked over at phatwallet and apparently others are having problems using a coupon over the phone as well. I tried calling my local store and they are OOS on the 160 gigger. I guess the one good thing is that I don't have to fill out any rebate forms this week. I was getting a little burned out on it. I think I had about $1,000 in rebates go out in the past 3 weeks.

Salvador - maybe they have finally gotten their act together and are enforcing the "no coupon" restriction both online and on phone orders. After all, the no coupon restriction really only started within the past month or so (maybe Dec, I can't remember), so maybe it took some time for it to trickle down to all the departments. Or, maybe the CSR are just being extremely difficult today

I think one of the best deals in this week's ad is the 5 shelf bookshelf for $19.99 ($20 instant rebate off regular price). These aren't great quality, but they're nice for the garage or a closet--and they run $40 at Wal-mart. I bought several and got free shipping so I don't have to pick these things up. Very nice!

Search for item 20735965 or 20735956.

There is a hot deal on the 512mb Lexar 12x Compact flash cards. I'd rather have the 40x cards, but these still much faster than most CF card available at retail.

They are $99.99 out the door and there is an additional $20 MIR that isn't in the ad, so they are $79.99 AR.

Too bad the $25 off $100 coupon expired yesterday b.c. it would have made this one hot.

79.99 isn't bad for a 512 12x lexar. They go for 125 - 150 online. Even the 4x cards are usually over $100. Newegg's cheapest 512mb card (dane-elec) is 102.

Nope. It's likely because ATA133 is more widely used now and manufacture probably want to cut cost. Even with SP1, you still need ATA133 on your system.

are the 1st 137gb accessable w/o a ATA133 card?

Answering my own question, it looks like WD has a bootloader w/their data lifeguard tools that will let you access the full drive if your hardware doesn't support it
