anyway, walked into officemax this morning to grap some toner and the cashier gave me a flyer and told me it was for an unadvertised sale. This is in LI, New York, but I'd imagine it's happening at all the Officemax's. The flyer itself says that it's a "private sales event". These are all coupons, so you'll need a flyer-

Minolta 1250w Laser printer: $99.00 (usually 199.00)
Lexmark Z23 color inkjet: 19.99 (usually 39.99)
HP 200i DVD+RW: 149.99 (usually 299.99)
Leather Manager's Chair (again): 39.99 (usually 129.99)

Great price if no rebate. Otherwise, that was the "price after rebate" 6 months ago.

Note that this is the slower/older 2.4x DVD+R writer.
The new 300i has 4x DVD+R write speed, which makes a big difference.
Might be better off with a 4x DVD-R for the same price but with lame rebate.

yeah, no rebate... so it's almost worth getting. But it's +rw, so the discs are a little pricier and it is a bit slow. I'm thinking mostly about the laser printer. I think it's prob the cheapest deal I've seen-

Yup...you could get it at Staples for $149 online (I believe they do 110% for b&m) and then tack on some coupons. I don't think they will pm though.

I got my dvd200i at the last friends and family sale. Been great so far. I paid $150 - 30 office depot coupon (they took it) and there was a rebate for a $90 gift card. The rebate wasn't listed but was in their coupon book. Anyone have their current coupon book?

The second SKU in the ad (look really closely underneath the picture of the drive) is for the 300i. The 300i is also eligible for this price. Specifically ask for a 300i if/when you attend the F&F event. You will have a brand new 4X DVD burner for $150.

You're right, but the odd thing is that BOTH sku's show up as the 300di. Maybe they put the wrong picture on there? If you can get them to accept a coupon, it would be even better. Definately worth a shot.
