Officemax Friends and Family sale April 26th: $99 laser printer

I'm gonna try and get the 300i tomorrow. I really hope that they even accept these printouts as coupons.

I picked up a 300i today and I'll go in tomorrow to see if I can get the PM for the newer model. Anybody know of some nice arguments/convincing techniques to get half my money back tomorrow? =)

For those of wondering about whether or not it is ok to print this thing out.
I was at officemax yesterday, they have stackfuls at the cashier (emeryville)
so even if u can't get a print out.. it'll be fine

oh its in black and white so no worries

Basically it means that it's a printer with no processor... uses your computer resources to print... You won't be able to use this printer as a network printer or use it with any other operating systems save Windows.

Ya know how they have those winmodems/softmodems... this is pretty much the same thing but for printers.

laser printers sure are dropping in prices. i got my samsung ml-1210 a year ago for about $179, but all the previous laser printers i've owned were like $300+

I got the photo paper too and the newbie cashier registered it as buy none, get two free , then I got an OM stationary set (3 & 1 hole puncher + stapler + Staples + paperclips + staple remover + more in a bundle) for $8.99 (10% off $9.99).

OM is now allowing substitutions of the Minolta laser printers for Brother HL1440 printers. Any opinions as to which is better?

ugh, two office max (marietta and alphretta in georgia) didnt have the 300i according to my brother and friend (my bro said only one sku?)--- anyways, i'm heading by the one in buckhead now down the street, heeh, i'll edit this once i see for myself

 

I got my chair for $39.99...regularly $129.99!!!!!! The lady in front of me was buying the same chair...she was about 70 years old though. I wonder if she browses FW or ATHD?

The 300i will ring up as 299.99 but at the end the cashier applied the 150 dollar off coupon. So I think we will get the hard time to convince other store sell to us for 149.99. Just my opinion.

The ad has two skus printed. The second sku is the 300I. They were originally going to give me the last 200I they had, but I asked the associate to look up the second sku. It is the 300I and I told them that I wanted that one. Sure enough I got it for $150.

Sweet! I called and my store still has some 300i's. So I got them to put one on hold for me.
Only thing I am curious about is has anyone gotten any greif about their ad being a print-out?

haha the OM in atlanta (buckhead) has the 300i for 149.99 but you gotta ask the manager for it or something, sweeeet deal... the other office max said they didnt even carry the 300i (marietta)

oh for those of you who miss out on this great deal, Access Mircro
has a toshiba 2x dvd rw for like $162.. not as good, but great price and its not a one day thing =)

Guys, i just got 2 from officemax, and have no problem whatsoever, the office max reps are very helpful, they knew that the 300 model drive is also listed under. Then, i went to best buy, i got a price match. i ended up paying 151.53 for the drive.

Break down
paid
299.99
tax 20.62
320.61

Then i price match
They decided to include the 50 dollars as part of the pricematch because the drive will ring up as 249.99 and they will ring up the gift card as if i am buying it to make it 299.99.
which means ,

249.99 price match at 149.99, price after 110% difference will be 139.99


Total price paid will be

139.99
+11.549 tax
151.53

including the 50 dollars giftcard i have paid for

total money paid out is 201.53, but the real price paid for is 151.53
