OfficeXP Service Pack One blues

Hi all,

I'm trying to install Service Packs 1 & 2 for OfficeXP, as far as I can gather, you have to install SP1 first... however, it bombs out with an error about halfway through.

"Error 1328. Error applying patch to file c:\Config.Msi\PT69.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor."

If you click on Ignore, it does it again shortly after, but this time you can't click Ignore to continue, there's only Retry and Cancel. Deleting the file in question doesn't stop the problem, I've emptied the Temp folder, Config.Msi is vaped before starting, I've run virus scans, etc... can't find anything on the Knowledge Base.

Anyone seen this problem? Know how to fix it?

You cannot apply the Service Packs to Corporate versions.

With your corporate licence, MS ships unified/slipstreamed OfficeXP + Service Pack CDs to your IT department. Speak to them if you need to apply the service pack

Error 1328 means your trying to install on a known Pirated version...
