Hey Unheard, how would you feel about a Predators vs Sharks matchup in the first round? I was terrified of seeing Kariya paired with Forsberg on the PP when our teams played each other a few weeks back.

I really don't want to see you guys first round again. My reason behind this is we are so hit or miss with the Sharks, and playing at the fish tank can be murderous. If I had my choice we would go 1st round w/ Calgary and then take it from there.

heh truth be told I wouldn't want to see any team in the west in the first round. Every team has the capability of being explosive and amazing...

- at least with the sharks (and unfortunatley for their fans) they are wildly streaky, which means unless they are hot 100% through the playoffs, they will likely go on a cold streak I hope this is the year that breaks that trend.

Yeah, I agree with the streaky-ness. Nabokov has been on a tear lately, but knowing him, he's going to get cold and that'll probably be in the next week or so. Toskala is back now so hopefully between one of them, we'll have a hot goalie going into the postseason. Guerin also hasn't registered a point in a Sharks uniform and he's been playing with Marleau and Pavelski. Once that line gets its chemistry together, they should be a good threat to any team we play in the playoffs. I'm a bit worried about Vlasic and Carle in the playoffs. Carle did play last postseason, but he's still young and makes rookie mistakes.

Yeah, I agree. I'd much rather see the Preds face Calgary the first round.

Okay, Buffalo better turn it around tonight. 3 consecutive regulation losses...horrible. They started playing better against the Devils, but not well enough. Tonight, they shouldn't see the trap so we'll see if that helps kick-start their game.

I'm glad they arn't moving. I've loved watching the Penguins story since the season off. Talk about a team that has done a heck of a job rebuilding!! If only the Bruins knew what they were doing
