No way, this is Auburn's year. AU over OSU for the National Championship.

Auburn has a tough LSU next week. If they make it past them they still have the SEC championship.

Hell, Auburn has to play LSU, Florida, Georgia and Alabama before the Conference Championship...I got faith though.

OSU looked great.

if not for the Frickin retarded P.F. call (okay, protect the cquarterback, but dont make it impossible to hit him.. the Defensive player was standing upright when he hit him, no head down, no leading with the head, etc.)

McCoy got a taste of what its like to get hit, and hit he did, it rattled him.

Troy Smith, still hasnt shown mobility yet this year, he is suddenly a pocket passer, and its weird.

Ginn, is fast as hell
Gonzalez, is key.
Pittman, is good.
Defense, is fast, though unexperienced.

I'm not stunned. Anyone else? Ohio had more experienced players. Texas' pass defense was made of rookies and inexperience players.

Given what ND did to Penn State I don't think OSU should have much trouble exacting revenge. Although it's the perfect year for Michigan to play spoiler...good thing OSU has that game @ home

Pretty disappointed with the game, so we played some Goldeneye during the second half with the game on another set...I can't wait for the UMich/OSU game, but I'm damn scared for the Wolverines right now.

That's the way we like our football in Ohio, we accept the ref's calls and move on. Unlike certain teams from Florida I could mention..

umm ND, Michigan, and OSU have way more history in the game of being Powerhouses than prolly any othe team in college football.

there is only 25 top teams every year and most of the time all 3 of these are in that ranking granted one might have a down year but that happens to every team.

plus there are a lot of us from the Great Lakes Region and the Ohio Valley here on the boards. myself? i have lived in ohio my whole life, grew up in a Buckeye-loving family, and thus have always and will always bleed scarlet and grey, especially considering I am now a freshman at the school.
that and a lot of Big 10 people will want a big10 team to beat an out of conference team.

my prediction? it's gonna be a touch game, but OSU will win by a touchdown, maybe a touchdown and a field goal. gonna be glued to the tv for this game, that's for sure.

normally I would root for the conference but rooting for OSU feels dirty
the same way i'm sure you'll have problems rooting for michigan against ND next week

I'll be pulling for Michigan. In fact the best times are when Michigan is undefeated so Ohio State can ruin their entire season. :laugh:
