Street Sense and Curlin are about tied as favorites. I still say Curlin doesn't have what it takes.

I did pretty well.

I'm VERY happy for Calvin Borel. He's a great jockey and gets his first Kentucky Derby win. If you watch the replay it's incredible what he did and the move he made on the turn. It will be a good Preakness for sure as my boy Hard Spun mistepped when Street Sense overtook him.

Hard Spun ran an amazing race as well. You can see in the race the jockey was trying to hold him back and the horse said "f you, i'm gonna run". That's a good sign.

I live in Louisville and I could care less about horses running in circles. Actually, I could care less about any "sport" that involves running/driving/riding in circles/ovals. The whole things seems pointless to me

Yep.

Watching the race over and over again - Imawildandcrazyguy is a good horse for the belmont. Especially givin his awsome cardiovascular system, I still couldn't understand why he was so underbet.

We'll see what happens in two weeks. Street Sense will be the huge favorite, with Curlin and Hard Spun not far behind.

Hard Spun has been my boy and I think he'll catch Street Sense at the preakness. His Jockey was trying to slow him up but that horse just kept saying I WANNA RUN dammit!

I remember watching the pools. The trifecta pool was bigger than the exacta pool.

That NEVER happens except on the derby. With so many horses and so much money even short odds horses can pay a good size tri. Get a 20-1 or higher horse in there and it gets huge. The tri didn't even pay that well this year.
