Warriors against Utah huh?

Damn, Utah will slow the pace to a grinding halt. Sloan is quoted as saying "Play them physical, the refs cant call all the fouls." A foul every possesion is what I expect from Utah. Sigh... I just hope the warriors don't get frustrated and start fouling back. Golden State is a very emotional team and could get caught up in the rough play. If that happens Utah wins.

With that said, I am so happy Suns and Spurs are squaring off. The two best teams in the league will have to have a dogfight before the western conference finals. Hopefully they chew each other up a bit. haha

Go Warriors!

Man that thing won't stop bleeding! He was just pouring water in his eyes b/c blood got on it.

I hope the Suns can pull it off...

Ahh! Barbosa, what are you doing? He's a good player but too young/inexperienced. He gets too excited and makes dumb decisions

Barbosa has played an amazing game, but he's made two boneheaded errors in this last minute or so.

Give me a break. Barbosa held then pushed. For the most part this game has been called pretty loosely. The Suns have received their share of calls as well.

seriously. they should just let SA shoot free throws instead of playing basketball.

you cant guard duncan without fouling him. you cant touch parker without fouling him.

and that head butt by parker where he went to the floor crying was a foul by parker too, IMO. he extended his face into steve nash's face.

parker and barbosa were both holding each other. that should have been a no call.

Give me a break? Take a look at the end of the first half. And just now, Parker holds first and then you call the ridiculous foul on Barbosa, the foul that pretty much sealed the game? Suns have gotten some calls, Spurs have gotten twice as many.

Say what you want. The refs did not decide the game. Parker played better than Nash, and Duncan schooled Stoudemire again and again in the post. Michael Finley has found the fountain of youth. The Mavs have got to feel like ****** retards for getting rid of both him and Nash.

And you'll say what you want. Parker outplayed Nash? Did we watch the same game? Or, by outplayed you mean "didn't have a big ass bloody cut on his nose"? Suns should've won the game anyways, but the refs made some terrible calls. Good no call on Amare's drive near the end though, great D by the Spurs.

Refs clearly had an impact on the game, like it or not.

32 & 8 for Parker, 33 & 16 for Duncan. Also remember, this game was in Phoenix. So much for home-court advantage.

This game was not decided by the refs. IMHO it was called pretty damn loosely for a playoff game. The Suns got outclassed today by a better team. They played great, but in the end the superior defense of the Spurs won the game. Yes there were some stupid calls but you can't say Phoenix would have won had they gotten those calls. They were still down 3 when TP was fouled before the ball was inbounded and you have no idea if the Spurs wouldn't have made a basket anyways.

This game was at Phoenix and the Suns just didn't take care of business. Face it, they lost to a far superior team. You can't win NBA championships without defense. Maybe Mr. Organized Chaos will figure that out someday.

Mr. Organized Chaos refused to play Kurt Thomas more than 13 minutes this game. KT has done an excellent job on Duncan and the Suns are a solid defensive team with him on the court. If he plays more, the Suns have a great shot at beating the Spurs.

They have no chance of beating the Spurs. Again it all comes down to defense. The Spurs are the best defensive team in the league and they are forcing the Suns to play their style of basketball. You think Steve Nash can go out there and score 32 points every night.....it just isn't going to happen. He functions best when his teammates are involved and the Spurs are doing a great job with their perimiter defense.

Maybe the Suns steal a game or two, but that's it. If they can't win at home they are toast.

Did you not watch the way the Suns played with KT in the game? I agree with your assessment on the Suns v. Spurs, but it's not like the Spurs defense was that great. The Suns scored 106 points and struggled down the stretch without their best player on the court. Amare and Marion missed a ton of close shots as well. The Spurs are the better team until the Suns show me otherwise, but saying the Suns have no chance after they've played the Spurs very close all year isn't quite fair.
