Has anyone limped (literally) into the playoffs as badly as the Wizards are right now? They're going to be slaughtered.

and the wizards were a really really good team when they had carom butler, arenas and jamison playing together! its sad to hear. early in the season i was looking forward to them making a deep playoff run.

Great matchups.

I really hope the Bulls and Wizards make it out of the first round. It will be nice to see new teams in the second round of the playoffs.

Warrioirs won all 3 regular season games against mavs.

But, I think Mavs will step it up and get through the first round. They are the best right now. Playoff atmosphere is different, so maybe it was just a slight slack during the regular season games that made them lose to warriors...we'll find out

they were never a really good team with their 1st strings, still just a mediocre east team.

As a 10yr season ticket holder for GS, we most def have a legit shot. Players are for once healthy, and we can definately run offensively with the Mavs. Plus, I'm sure Nellie has something planned. I'd say though we won 2 staight up against the Mavs this season. Tuesday's game doesn't count (even though we won that).

I can't wait for the Raptors/Nets series ... as a longtime Raptors fan, I hated when the Raps had Vince dogging it at the end of his tenure in Toronto. I live in Western Canada, and had been in Toronto for a couple of games shortly before the trade, and that poof wasn't worth what we got in return. Cancer I tell you.

Now, I do believe the Raps are going to have trouble with the Nets, and Carter is going to go off in the series. If the Raptors manage to pull it off, it will exorcise the demons left over from #15's stay ... but regardless, I think the Raptors (with B. Coangelo) are headed nowhere but up.

Haha, lakers...they should just not show up. This will be a great year for the NBA. I hope Pistons take it. Lots of good teams though, wouldn't be surprised if almost any one of those teams showed up and took it. With a few exceptions of course.

How can the Raptors be sleepers? They are playing around 0.667 ball in 2007. While yes, the Nets are on a nice roll, it will take Vince and Kidd to both get triple doubles ever game to pull this victory out.

While I don't care who wins for the Rockets/Jazz series, I kind of want the T-Mac 1st round curse to continue.

Cleveland will steamroll over the Wiz and have a relatively easy time against the tired Raptors but end up getting killed by Detroit.

I wonder who will survive the Bulls/Heat matchup. Too close to call.

Raptors are considered being at a disadvantage to the Nets, the Nets have their big 3 and their Playoffs experience, and the young Raptors only can bank on Bosh and maybe Parker to be consistent. Most are predicting a Nets win from that series. But I really want the Raptors to win that, with their amazing season. They were overlooked when the Titanic Division stories were all about the Knicks extending Isiah, 76er's trade, Celtic trouble and Nets barely making the playoffs. Nobody cared about the Canadian team.

Speaking of which my Knicks won last night by a tip in by Curry, which would hamper their hopes for a higher pick which is going to Chicago anyway because of the Curry trade. oh the irony!!!

As a Detroit fan, it's DAMN scary being out East in the playoffs. Sure, the East doesn't have spectacular records compared to the West, but that's because most of the teams as a WHOLE suckass out East and it shows during the regular season.

BUT... in the playoffs the Pistons have to contend with a couple of individuals that can just 100% completely take over a game. DWade and James are scary, scary opponents. They make the rest of their team moot at times. They've both shown it in the past and they're only getting better and better.

I think if they should be scared, it should be more Lebron than Dwade. Wade is injured and probably cannot explode like a healthy Lebron can. He may be a little cautious. He's holding out surgery for hopes of another ring.

Out of the bottom 4 seeds, the Warriors are the ones the Mavs least wanted to face I'm sure. That being said, I think the Mavs will take them down in 5 maybe 6 games.
