Game one goes to the Rangers

The Thrashers looked flat at the beginning of the game, and the Rangers took advantage of that. Atlanta definitely put on some serious pressure at the end, though I thought that penalty with 1:20 or so left in the game was typical ticky-tack crap that refs call to try and make a close game more exciting :roll:

He sat out practice, but AFAIK, is expected to play tomorrow.

Up here we have the NHL channel. But since I only really follow the Canucks........ they show 75% of the games for free already

Do you have the option for Center Ice in your area? Comcast in the Bay Area, CA offers it but you need the digital cable package.

I had a dinner date with my wife Thursday night so I didn't get a chance to see the Red Wings play. Don't ask why I made a date night with my wife on the first night of the playoffs. Long story short; needed to call a year ahead of time for the place I took her.

So anyway, I'm rather proud of my team. I just hope to see the kind of energy bleed into the second game from the first game, but a 2 day layover is probably good for the Flames.
