Watching game 2 between Rangers and Thrashers on NBC.

WooHoo, Rangers lead 1-0 after 1st period.

The puck had a strange bounce when Avery bang it off the glass from the neutral zone and end up in the Thrashers net. It's not pretty, but I'll take it

Great perfomance by the Rangers especially the PKing, hope they'll keep it up for the rest of the game.

LET'S GO RANGERS.

Hmm, i think Ottawa will still win this series, but this game was definitely a mistake.

Looks like my picking ATL to beat NYR isn't gonna be correct...too bad, since i hate the Rangers.

My pick has always been Pittsburgh. This is just reinforced by this game. Ottawa is not built for playoff hockey.

I also picked NY because Atlanta has struggled all year in goal. That and they haven't been very good on defense in general.

How was this game a mistake? This is exactly the way the pens have beaten ottowa the last 3 times they met in the regular season. The first game in the series is obviously the mistake if you are gonna point one out.

I think Pittsburgh could really go far. That team has a lot going for them. Young, hard working, extremely talented, good goaltender. And it doesn't hurt to have the league's best forward either.

Wow, Sean Avery is amazing. A goal and an assist, plus a short-handed breakaway chance. Of course, Lundqvist has been great in net also. Only thing I'm disappointed about is their PP which is 0/5.

Here's hoping they'll win their next two games at home.

First impressions so far. Islanders are coming out strong in the first 15 minutes of the game. Seem to be getting to the puck a couple of strides before a Sabres player can. Result is 2-0 Islanders.

Sillenger with a golden chance. Man, this is a good game!

Bad choice (especially with Marleau). Nasville has a hell of a team including two great goalies. I don't see San Jose scoring 5 goals on Nashville every night.

Jumbo Joe may be questionable, but Marleau is one of the players who picks up his scoring in the playoffs, last season IMO he was without a doubt the best shark on the ice.

Ugh on the hit Friday night, at least it resulted in a suspension. I can't believe people say that was a clean hit. The hartnell hit? sure, I can understand (while perhaps not agree) but getting hit in the back? Surely we can agree on THAT.

Watching NBC for hockey is like watching Sidney Crosby Reality TV

Yeah, that Radulov hit on Bernier made me cringe. The league made the right choice in suspending him for one game. Hopefully, tempers will have cooled off by Monday so we can go back to playoff hockey instead of what we've been seeing so far. (wishful thinking)

As to what someone mentioned earlier : I would by NHL.tv (if it was like mlb.tv)

I like the sharks but more importantly hockey in general. Would love to be able to just come home, and watch some hockey on my comp.
I don't like center ice since I don't always have access to my TV with the digital cable box, but I always have my laptop.

Living in SoCal all I get to watch are the kings or the ducks, and it's kinda boring. I've only had time to see buffalo once.

I do like that NHL radio is free as is, i'm not sure the MLB equiv is free. but yea, i'm all for internet streamed games.
