That was a brutal hit. A combination of head down pens player pushing from the back and armstrong putting a shoulder to the head.

I wonder if there is going to be a suspension? I doubt it since there was no penalty.

If I was Armstrong ....... I would be looking over my shoulders next game.

Well, even Murray says the hit was legal and that's hockey. Still, the players union should tell its members to respect each other a bit more. Best retribution would be a quick exit to the golf greens.

Sabres vs. Islanders, game 3 tonight. Historically, the team that wins game 1 and loses game 2, both games at home, in the NHL, in the first round, wins the series less than 40% of the time. I don't see that happening, but that's an eye-opener stat.

In case you're curious, the team that wins game 1, loses game 2, both at home, then wins game 3 on the road, in the NHL, in the first round, is 5-10 in game 4. However, they are also 9-6 in the series.

There are so many things wrong with that video, but I will try to make this short:

#1. My room = I live in my parents house.

#2. How many times did he say "This is where it starts"? It can't start that many times, you knob.

#3. To get the best use of that room during the playoffs this year, he might want to flip the "goal switch" every time the Flames get a shot.

You would have thought that the Flames would have really brought it in game 2. They tried and failed. I wish them luck in winning four out of the next five with two of those games in Detroit.
