2-0 series lead for the Sens after a 4-3 OT win.

Setting up Ottawa for another choke job, that's all.

On a side note, Ottawa has continued their streak of scoring 2+ PPGs in every win against us this season. That's 7 straight now.

Sens are playing really tough. They are a determined club this year and playing a very solid game on both ends of the ice.

Ottawa looks as good this round as they did the previous two rounds. I have been saying since the beginning that they were going to be tough. If Detroit can advance to the next round (fingers crossed), Ottawa was the one team I did not want them to have to face.

The better team lost. Buffalo is a team that's not designed for overtime. They play a wide open offense, which is pretty much just turn and go, and if they screw up one play it's an automatic odd-man rush. That style of playing is going to wear you down after 4 periods of play, which is what happened.

Sorry, but Buffalo has not been the better team in this series. Ottawa's power play has been better (unstoppable). Ottawa has been better short-handed. Ottawa has been better in the corners.

They are clogging up the blue line and forcing Buffalo to dump and chase, which they seem reluctant to do. Buffalo is going to have to start working a lot harder if they want a chance in this series.

Ottawa has been better.

I'm gonna have to agree.

I don't know how you could say Buffalo has been the better team.

In this past game, they were certainly the better team for the first 10 minutes.
In fact, they were flying...they could very well have been up 4-0.

But after that, they pretty sat back & watched their lead turn into a 3-2 deficit, & i would say they even got somewhat outplayed in the third, aside from the last second heroics that was really just a lotta luck.

As i mentioned before this series started, Buffalo is the better team, but Ottawa is playing better as one.

Yeah, that pisses me off so much watching them. Every one of them wants to get fancy and dipsy doodle around 5 guys on the ice. Not gonna happen, people, dump it in!

Detroit better get their heads in the game. I've seen 3 miscues that could have cost them a goal. The series isn't over just because we won game 1.

The Wings really need to be a bit sharper. Dom has bailed them out. But it's nice to have OUR guy steal a game or two instead of being the team that gets robbed by the hot goalie in the playoffs.

Ottawa has been all over Buffalo. I think the Sabres have hit the wall.

As a wings fan, so far this game is pretty painful to watch. Detroit is getting pushed around and in general, getting rocked.

Yeah. 1-0 Ducks right now. 5 minutes into tyhe 2nd and the Wings have come out flat. I don't see a jump in their step, bad miscues (the breakaway by #26) as I type this. Just doesn't look like a team wanting to go to Cali up 2-0.

1:10 5-on-3 for the Wings coming out of the locker room to start the 3rd. They need to capitalize.

Sure he had momentum but he was pushed...

Nah. Hasek's momentum from pushing off the front post did it. Sure he got touched, but not enough to cause it to not be a goal.
