Everyone is picking ottawa over buffalo
Everyone was picking San Jose over Detroit and the Wings mauled them in games 5 and 6.
And for all of the Sharks fans that are complaining about Marleau / Thornton / etc, just remember that the Wings played very well and Hasek was outstanding.

I know the wings played better. Especially Hasek. But I will complain about Marleau and Guerrin. They were on the ice for both of the deciding goals that allowed Redwings to split the first 4 games. Take away those shifts from the "vet" sharks players and sharks would have won in 4.
I also think Wilson should have rotated Toskala and Nabokov once Toskala was healthy. They did it all regular season and it seemed to make each goaltender more hungry to perform. Nabby is a good goaltender, but I do not think he is a great one. Hasek totally out-shined him.

What's even cooler is their awful playoff history against the Sabres.Originally posted by: dennilfloss
Here's an Ottawa Senators historical retrospective with relevant videos.

Ottawas HAS NEVER, and WILL NEVER oust the Sabres from any NHL playoff round, period.
I can't even be bothered with local hockey forums. Everyday of my life in public is like being on a live action hockey forum.Originally posted by: dennilfloss

Time to make him eat his words.
