I actually don't have a rooting interest in the East. I like Buffalo and will probably root for them just because they are not in Canada.

sens outplayed buffalo tonight, all there is to it. miller kept it close as long as he could. sabres better get their heads out of their asses and play saturday night or this series could be over quick.

can we start declining the man advantage?

Decent game. Ottawa had more jump in their game, but they definitely were not top of their game.
Emery still looks like rebound emery to me.
Sens took the game in one period and sabres threw it away in 15 minutes.
Both teams looked skittish in the first game, puck was all over, turnovers and unsure passing. Typical for a game on feel out.
I expect more in the coming games. And I get sick of buffalo fans and ottawa fans for that matter, who think the series is over after one game. This is the real deal boys, be ready for the long haul.

I'd give the Sens a B+ to a very weak A-- and the Sabres a B- (being generous).

Should be another fun game on saturday!

Fun game to watch for sure. I don't know wtf Buffalo was doing in the first ten minutes, but after that, lots of back and forth action. Sens ftw

Totally. When buffalo gets back on track and decides to play, this will be the best series of the year. I'm finding it harder and harder to turn down offers for my tickets. $750 in cash for each ticket. So hard. But the team comes first!

True. Though I don't think that will be the case. I believe that the senators have plenty to improve on their game as well. Buffalo sure helped them out with give aways and players being out of position.

Don Cherry made some good points in his post game analysis. I'm sure Lindy Ruff already knows them.
