Sabres are starting to get some injury concerns. Captain Craig Rivet is out 2 weeks, joining Connolly, Hecht, and Gaustad.

Nice start to the season for me. I get to go to 3 games and only have to pay for one of them. Hopefully this trend will continue throughout the season.
Islanders v. Rangers company is paying for (suite at MSG).
Penguins v. Thrashers company is paying for.
I'm picking up the tab to see the Canucks v. Blackhawks.

Wow, wasn't looking good for Buffalo against Minnesota when Miller scored an own goal to go down 3-1. However, Buffalo scored twice in the last 4 minutes and again 44 seconds into OT to win the game and hand the Wild their first loss. Woohoo!!!

Wings game must have been awesome to watch. 10 goals between both teams and with the Wings down 2 goals going into the third. I wish I could have been there.

I don't know how I feel about the Hossa signing. I mean, it's great that he's producing in the regular season. But is he going to disappear during the playoffs?

I used to, in the past, overlook the Blackhawks games as an automatic win for the Wings. I can't do that anymore.

Canucks won last night for a change 6-3 romping of the Oilers, although the Oilers had control of the game pretty early on in the game. Glad to see the Canucks break out of their slump. Was at the game and was good to see them win.
2 goals by Raymond and 2 by Hansen - the rookies are really stepping it up. Wellwood seems to be stepping it up after being brought back from the farm team. I hope he can keep it up and replace Pyatt since he's been so ineffective this season.
