i wouldn't change anything in TO right now. the new Leafs are doing decent, they have to be thinking playoffs are a possibility if they can keep playing competitive like they have since the outset of the season.

i'm glad i didn't go to that game. i found 2 tix for $40 shipped too.

it would have been the third straight time i went to the Joe to see the Oilers when they failed to post a goal.

frankly i'm embarrassed to be an Oiler fan after a performance like that. this team needs shaking up in the worst way

and Pisani, one of the hard-working Oilers, goes does to injury.

can't fault old man Roloson either as he played awesome.

he's one of those guys with deceptive speed... Lemiuex was like that, and Spezza too. he sure is slick though, and I'm lovin having him in my big $ pool

Hey guys, been awhile since I've been on here. I see all the old NHL fans are still around!

I have to say Boston is having a hell of a year. I knew they would be getting better as time went on, but this is freakin incredible. I figure they will cool off at some point, but Julien has them playing great and they are rolling four balanced lines.

Even if we lost every game from here on out, it would still be a great season because I got to see them absolutely smoke the Habs in Boston a couple weeks back.

The best part is they aren't playing that boring trap style anymore, they are skating like crazy and passing like I haven't seen them pass in years. All these young kids are really playing hard every night.

*cough* Sharks have 37 points before Thanksgiving day with a win last night against the Hawks. I cannot believe how well they have been playing. 18-3-1 record with a 12-0-1 home record! The best part is that Nabby goes down for 7 games and Boucher posts a 5-1-1 record! Go Sharks Go!

Hey melty...how the hell have you been?!?

Nice bounce back game today after our loss the other night to the Sabres. Isles got the first one early in the first, then the B's just started ramping it up in the 2nd and 3rd periods. 2 goals in the 2nd, 5 goals ( :Q ) in the 3rd on the way to a 7-2 win.

Lucic fought Witt as well. I had to listen here at work, but I hope I can catch the replay later on tonight.

Ryder almost got a hat trick!

Like I said after "the trade"...in the long run, the B's were better off without Jumbo Joe...

Oilers suck right now. If you go to tsn.ca they are one of the big stories today because Tambellini thinks the status quo is fine.

I think a shakeup is required. At the beginning of the year, MacT and K.Lowe thought they would be NW division leaders. They are PUKE compared to the other NW teams right now. Their scoring is BRUTAL - only Hemsky has 22 pts and 2nd and 3rd scorers are defensemen. Gagner is mired in a sophomore slump and the other kids are meh so far this year. Eric Cole hasn't done much. Souray rarely hits the net with his "cannon". The best player lately has been Roloson IMO (and they're LOSING games).

Yeah, I was just reading that story. I pretty much rely on TSN for my hockey news as all the US outlets pretty much suck IMO. The comments make me laugh. It seems like Leafs, Sens, and Habs fans all like to fight a lot..lol.

I'm sure you guys can turn it around...maybe a roster move will shake things up a bit. The B's are playing awesome now, but I'm realistic that it likely won't continue like this the whole season. It's just nice to finally enjoy watching them, win or lose, again. I had to sit through so many years of blown leads, horrible last second losses, and that stupid Ole, Ole song everytime we lost to Montreal (which happened a lot). The 6-1 beating we put on them at home earlier this month was so awesome I'd be happy even if they lost every game the rest of the year. The Boston fans singing "Oh-Gay, Oh- Gay, Oh-Gay" was making me LMFAO.

Regardless of how the Oil's season turns out, you guys have the best freakin ice surface...HANDS DOWN. I think the NHL should make every single team meet the standard of the Oiler's ice.

The next game after handing Boston their first regulation loss in November, Buffalo hands Pittsburgh their 2nd regulation loss in November. :thumbsup:

Another win tonight against the Wings with their best in the league road record. 8-0-0 at home in November with 38GF and 12GA. Fernandez was awesome!

The wings have only been beaten in regulation on the road this year twice...by SJ and now Boston.
