Too bad the only remaining similarities are the team names. Team history means jack. You know it's coming... IF the Caps beat the Pens, all the Pens fans will do is point to their storied history and how they've got X banners. Seriously... who gives a fvck about the past right now? Same with the Yankees. Enjoy your past while the other team moves on.

This wasn't directed directly at you, but any Pens fans who like to bring up history in an argument of who's the better team. We'll see who's better as long as they let them play this out, and then we do it again next year.

God I'm sick of all the arguing back and forth between sports fans. Venting.

Oops didn't see this before - still has nothing to do with history... even if the Pens end up winning 4 in a row... 2 of those were our fault, 2 game winners, I'm not even going to talk about other contributing deflected goals. I hate that history crap in every sport, not just between these 2 teams. I think Gonchar is the only remaining member from those teams... and he switched sides.

Hard for the Ducks to win when they were only out of their end for about 10 minutes the whole game. Wings really need to shore up their PK and get something going on power plays.

Losing Gonchar is going to kill the Pens powerplay. That last PP pens had was awful to watch. If Pens need the PP to win they will be doomed. I will still be cheering for pens tonight GO PENS!

Ovechkin expects to be hit, that's why he goes into defensemen like he does after shooting the puck, as well as hitting forwards who try to get him when he cuts across the middle.

I think the pens have figured out how to score on Varmislov (sp?).

He's awesome down low around the goal, but seems to have problems from the periphery, especially if there's a little screening involved.

I stick by my earlier prediction. Pens in six - Uberchickin goes home.

Eh, the Canucks knew how to play against them just fine. Their problem was they couldn't stay out of the penalty box. They pissed away game 5 on a stupid penalty and did the exact same thing in game 6.

That certainly didn't help. I thought the O'Brien hooking was a pretty soft call after what happened during the game. Despite that, the Hawks were able to come back each time regardless.
