I agree, but the Hawks haven't played on home ice yet. I've seen a lot of playoff series' go from no hope to a game 7 pretty easy.Originally posted by: NoCreativity

I wouldnt say that just yet. Chi outshot Det 39-38 in game 2. While not an impressive margin, the fact that the Wings, even on thier bad days, NEVER get outshot, is impressive for Chicago, they really brought the hussle. If they continue to outshoot (which will be extremely hard for them to do) They can just play the odds game and win in the long run.Originally posted by: Sentrosi2121
The only way Chicago can beat Detroit is by playing mistake-free hockey. I know that is usually parrot-speak for all the NHL "Experts" around, but it is true in this case. Detroit has capitalized in both games on mistakes by Chicago. They seem minuscule and trite, but they are mistakes. And Detroit will pounce on each and every one that Chicago gives them. I'm not saying that this will be a sweep. I am saying for Chicago to win a couple they will have to play Detroit's style of play; puck possession and keeping their sticks on the ice.
Squisher was right, Toews kind of gave up on the play that lead to the game winner. Maybe he thought Samuelsson wasn't going to go up ice with the rush? Regardless, it's that kind of play that will kill the hawks. They can make mistakes, they just need to keep the intensity/pressure on the Wings to have a chance.
That said, I don't think they are quite experienced nor deep enough come back from an 0-2 start.

I've been looking forward to a detroit - pittsburgh matchup since last year. It would be the ultimate karma for hossa to lose after he switched to the wings.

Funny, I've been thinking the same thing might happen, Hossa being the cup repellant.
When was the last time the same two teams made it to the cup finals two years in a row? It seems like something that probably hasn't happened too often since the league was smaller.

Honestly, if Hawks don't find a way to beat us this game considering the first period with 11 minutes with of powerplay time and Kronwall being ejected, they are going to get swept.
