yeah, they really are, and their defense hasnt been stellar through the first 2 series anyway.

my brother said they just should play a PK defense and send the 5th guy after the puck :laugh:

sad about his mom and how she took that last trip with him... that sort of thing is something a parent shouldn't have to go through... the whole time knowing it'll be your last this and that with your child.

Great weekend of hockey. Surprised Wings/Hawks fans haven't said much about either weekend game.

Friday - Game 3. One of the worst officiated games to date for the Wings. A 5min penalty and game misconduct for Kronwall for a pretty clean hit. Not from behind, from what I saw it wasn't an elbow to the head and Havlat even saw him coming yet decided to look down for the puck. At most it should have been called 2 for interference and even then, that would be weak considering the puck was between Havlat's skates. To follow it up, they call a bunch of weak penalties on both teams and miss some pretty blatant calls on both.

Chicago played a great game though and showed the Wings they need to step their game up if they want to win the series.

Sunday - Game 4. I missed the first two periods. But by the third the Wings had their back-up goalie playing and Chelios was on the ice quite a bit. They turned it up a notch and the Hawks couldn't keep up.

And for crying out loud Carolina, I know Pittsburgh is good, but at least make it look like you belong here.

the thing is, if cam actually gets the stance...hes a damn, damn good goalie.

if he doesnt, hes just ok.

edit: well hes not on fire, for sure. i cant believe he let that second goal in, that was horrible
