I'd have to say Crosby looks questionable for game five. They won't have to apply any water to the ice for game 6 with all the tears he left out there.

Suffering from a little Sydney Crosby Derangement Syndrome?

No player in the NHL generates the kind of animosity that Sidney Crosby incites. Fans in nearly every NHL city except Pittsburgh love to hate him.

The irony is the fans that hate him the most would likely be his biggest fans if he played for their team.

So, while fans from Philadelphia, Washington, and Carolina are checking themselves into hospitals around the country to be treated for SCDS, Crosby will be leading his Penguins into his second Stanley Cup finals in two years for a likely rematch against the Detroit Red Wings.

If it makes them feel any better...fans of the Red Wings can call him anything they want. They can even make fun of his playoff "beard."

I?m sure Crosby won?t mind a bit.

Immaturity of Malkin is killing me. How many bad penalties is he going to take. Anyways, I stopped watching 5 minutes into the 3rd.

Mayeb I should tune in at hte end. I have a feeling that there is going to be a big fight.

Yeah, this game could have been easily 8+ goals in wings favor, with the amount of stupid shit pens brought.

I had hoped that Pens would win the series just because the Wings win too much.

But the Pens are a little wussies who take penalties that they shouldn't take, get pwned in PP, and then instigate fights.

I would've liked to see a Caps vs. Wings series, at least they're not a bunch of crybabies with a pretty boy as a captain.

LOL, I knew this was coming. Doesn't change anything. Dastyuk was good but he didn't single handedly win the game tonight.

The Pens sucked ass and were completely dominated. Zetterberg was a beast and looks like he might win Conn Smythe...of course the Wings still have to win another game.

I liked the in the 3rd period where they were showing all the replay's of the wings goals between faceoffs. When suddenly the announcers goes...

"Well, if you noticed that little stick exchange between Samuelsson and someone at the faceoff..." or something like that...

I was Like umm.... no, we didn't you were too busy showing us replays and we missed the faceoff altogether.

or that part where the puck went out of play and almost hit guerin or whatever is name is and the announcers between the benches leans over asking him if he's okay. lolz.

I personally watch the CBC broadcast if they have it picked up as well...

Won't matter - they as a team need to grow up and stop whining like little babies - especially their golden boy Malkin [how many times has he used his stick to hit another player in the head?]. I guess that's what happens when you let a boy [Crosby] lead

I think the biggest boost to Detroit tonight was the return of Datsyuk - if he's there for game 6 - I think the Detroit will again walk away with the cup.

If Detroit somehow loses - they'll have home advantage for game 7 and win it. Pens are going to have their hands full for game 6.

Why doesn't Bettman suspend/fine Malkin? He was given a pass after Game 2, but after his actions tonight, the Commish should do something.

I disagree. Not only do you get back a play maker, goal scorer, and puck handler, but you also get someone to cover Malkin.

He did single handedly win it. Even when he's not on the ice.

You put in your top player and he bumps another great player onto the second line, and that player bumps a good player, yadda yadda yadda...until Helm is back on the forth line.

By his inclusion he makes every line better.

He may not have single handedly won the game, but he makes a huge impact. Enough that Malkin was nullified for pretty much the first time all series. I have a feeling that the Malkin of the 08 finals is here to stay as long as Datsyuk is playing.

Pittsburgh played the same game the Wings played in game 4. Sadly, after tonight?s display by Pittsburgh, I think I was giving them a too much credit. A good team just doesn't go out and head hunt when the game isn't going their way. Hopefully they ratchet up the maturity level for game 6 regardless of who is winning.

Of course he makes an impact; the Wings with Datsyuk are better than the Wings without Datsyuk. But given the way they played, Pittsburgh would have lost this game whether the Wings had Datsyuk or not.

I don't think we're going to see the 08 Malkin from now on now that Datsyuk is back. He looked lost last year, I think he had the flu or something.

Hopefully we see the the game 3/4 Malkin for the rest of the series, which did happen to come after he got frustrated in game 2 (like tonight). Crosby has to kick it up a notch and dominate too.

I dont think the Wings would take him, even at a discount. Wings aren't the kind of team to have a prissy superstar on thier roster. I doubt Wings fans would suddenly become Crosby supporters if he came to Detroit.

Hell I don't even want to see Crosby on the Canadian National Team.

I agree. I wouldn't trade Zetterberg and Datsyuk straight up for Crosby and Malkin.

Unfortunately I didn't get to catch the game, was a little pre-occupied.

However, what I do know is that Detroit won 5-0 against Pittsburgh when Datsyuk finally game back, as opposed to losing 2-4 without him.
