ducks and wings was a great game. I'm a kings fan myself but am cheering for the so cal locals. Ward is a beast too for Car. I didn't get a chance to watch the game was at dinner with the wife. I was able to watch the last few mins. Lets see tomorrow we have...Pittsburgh and Washington. I would like to see the pit win flurry had not the greatest game. And I don't think Varlamov has what it takes to win this series.
All it's gonna take is one bad game for varlamov to lose all his confidence. Then it's all over for washington. Hopefully pittsburgh can tear him apart next game.
they've been saying that since he started game 2 of the round 1 series, and it still hasn't happened. you have to remember, they were down 3-1 to the Rangers. i think if there were any confidence issues with him, they would have surfaced then... i even thought i might foresee him cracking in this series but after considering how much pressure he has already endured, i don't think it's gonna happen. it's amazing how some unknown young tender seems to surface in the playoffs once every few years...
the penguins are considerable better than the rangers... No one is afraid of the rangers, the penguins are slightly more fearable.
