This could be a series where CP3 shows how great he really might be/become. Regular season is one thing, but shredding the champs in the playoffs would be taking it to a whole other level. And West...damn...he's playing as well as any 4 in the playoffs.

CP3 got some ill moves. I love his signature yo-yo dribble. That shit just freezes his defender up during fast break, then he does a spinny thing and easy laid up. Sick! Bowen got pwnd.

Surprised New Orleans whalloped the Spurs like that, but also very happy about it. I don't know any players on NO besides Chris Paul and I pay a lot of attention to sports. Apparently they actually do have depth.

Yeah they have quite a bit of depth. Lets see how the spurs react to this. I'm gunning for the lakers to win this one, but will be happy if anyone but the spurs and the cavaliers win. James is ov-er-rat-ed and is a good traveller. Wade > James.

You crazy. Lebron is a top 5 player. He single handedly got the Cavs to the finals last year. Not the best clutch shooter ever, but not overrated.

Wow, the Celts/Hawks series has been so strange. It's amazing how Jekyll and Hyde both of these teams can be depending on whether they at home or not. Very strange. Nothing is falling for the Hawks today.

Hawks had a good run, but they're done. BOS is too strong at home.

Ooooh, hard foul on rondo. marvin totally clotheslined him.

eh, hawks had very close wins at home, and the celtics blow the hawks out at the garden. I think the +/- differential for this series is in the double digits in favor of Boston

I can't describe the joy I'm feeling with the Celtics up 34 over the Hawks.

The momentum from this absolute thrashing will carry into their next series.

It annoys me the preferential treatment that superstars get. Setting a screen is one thing, but turning your body so that your shoulder flattens someone....that's intentionally trying to hurt somone. If Zaza had set that screen that knocked KG down, he would have likely gotten a tech or ejected. Imagine if Darius Songalia (sp?) had set a screen that flattened Lebron James...he probably would have gotten suspended another game.

Maybe I'm out of the loop but isn't Wade quite infamous for his spinning travels? What makes James' *non* violations the worse offence?

Celtics and Cavs should be a good series. I like both teams but I think I'll be rooting for the Cavs.

You got that right. He's ok for general conversation, but sucks when the game gets interesting.

Marv Albert, Mike Breen, and Kevin Harlen(?) are the best imo.

Celts played well today as well, should be a great match-up with the cavaliers. I hope we get to see some more game 7s. Thus far, the west has been kinda a let down - only Jazz/Rockets was any interesting.

Lakers 4-2 Jazz
Hornets 4-3 Spurs
Pistons 4-2 Magic
Cavaliers 4-1 Hawks

Wow, Hawks over Celtics in game 7? Really?

4-3 Jazz
4-1 Spurs
4-2 Pistons
4-2 Celtics

Lakers 4-2 Jazz
Spurs 4-1 Hornets
Pistons 4-2 Magic
Celtics 4-0 Cavaliers

Celts need to get past the lowly Hawks before they can start worrying about Ctown. They are one loss away from copying the epic choke of the Pats. Cavs had great success against the Celts in the regular season, a 4-0 prediction is a joke. Boston beat them by a whopping 5 points in the game LBJ didn't even play, and I think the Cavs swept them after their trades.

I agree about the Wiz mini, they even failed at being thugs though and got knocked out again. I love how they talk trash to the team that has ended their season 3 years running. Get a clue, get some game, and shut your pie hole until then Wiz....

The Celtics are capable of sweeping the Cavs, but you're right looking at the stats is probably not going to happen. I just wasn't impressed all season long with the Cavs... at least before the trades.
I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Wade > LBJ, you must have gotten a wack batch o crack.

Traveling is not against the rules in the NBA, at least if you judge that by how often it is called. I will never forget seeing Ewing take FOUR steps during a game en route to the basket. After the 3rd he looked towards the ref, took one more, then made his shot and looked at the ref again and smiled.

I think the Celts just needed a series to get back up to speed, they coasted the last month. Should be a good series and I will pull for my Cavs but it would be an upset if they won. Still don't see them getting swept but we shall see, g/l to both teams.....
