The shot selection argument in game 2 is such bullshit.
Look at the charts:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/...chart?gameId=280608002
LA smoked Boston for shots in the paint the first and second quarter. LA took one less in the third and then about the same amount as Boston in the 4th.
Less aggressive in the paint my ass.
Except you're forgetting to include all of the fouls and free-throws attempts created by pounding the paint. Yes, LA was very much less aggressive inside.
Huh?
Did you even look at the shot chart? LA SMOKED Boston on in the paint shot attempts in the first half and they had 2 free throws to like 15 for Boston.
You do know that missed FG attempts that cause a foul do not count as FG attempts? If they did, you would have seen on those charts a much larger number of Boston FG atempts compared to LA in the paint.
And one could make the same argument that a missed attempt that does show up is because a foul wasn't called.
Sure and if you add the number of times Boston was fouled in the paint and went to the free throw line, those added FG attempts would have smoked LA. Your argument just makes LA look more pathetic in the paint.
Learn the rules please...
