They've been playing their hearts out the whole end of the season just to make the playoffs. I don't know how long it'll last, but IIRC, they did beat Boston twice recently. IMHO, they are capable of surprising the whole East half of the playoffs.

I think the next couple games will be different. Im sure PopoZITS told all of the big men to "FLOP FLOP FLOP". The refs are going to come out in the 2nd game expecting San Antonio to do more of the same. Won't work this time, and Shaq will actually play the game.
My favorite plays: Watching Anthony parker fly STRAIGHT INTO THE SUNS without any regard for trying to make the basket. Refs werent calling it tho, they probably were told before the game that parker is going to do this so watch out for it. He must of tried at least 3-4 times to fly straight into a suns player to draw a foul. Only worked 1 or 2 times.
(I HATE THIS TYPE OF PLAY, reminds me of Sam Cassell)

You are right, the nash flop was 80% acting. I really cant argue with that.
Actually, Parker is one of my favorite players on the Spurs. Him and Duncan are the only two i really give respect to. He was just being overly blatant about this strategy during this particular game, and everyone saw right through it including the refs who usually always fall for it.
And please dont act like the "flopping" strategy the Spurs are using on Shaq isnt real.
On the "hate" note, you can't act like you wouldn't be mad if your team went thru what the suns went through last playoffs. The Donaghy scandal was already underway, and the NBA knew about it yet still let him ref during the series for "investigation" purposes. The suspensions for something so minor was devastating to our team (with our lame 7-8 man rotation). And dont give me the "a rule is a rule" line. The spirit of the rule was intended for something much more devious than standing up and checking on your teammate.
