I think it's funny people are saying Kobe took over the game - the only way he took it over was taking advantage of the calls in the 4th. Once the Spurs stopped shooting well and stopped being aggressive - which wasn't the defensive effort of the Lakers - the refs were spreading the home court love to the Lakers. Understandable, but to state that Kobe simply took over is simply absurd. The Spurs collapsed for no reason at all, and it was rather pathetic.
Spurs collapsed for no reason? Kobe coming out of the cage in the 2nd half and fucked them up w/ the mad skills, coming back from the 20 point deficit, that's what paralyzed the Spurs, and took the confidence outta them. Name me another player that can single handedly bring his team back from a 20 point deficit in a playoff game, against the defending champ. Jordan.
And don't make me laugh w/ your home court love BS. Spurs are notorious for getting away w/ everything w/ the cheap shots no matter where they play. I'm surprised Bowen didn't plant his feet under Kobe when Kobe got on fire in the 3rd quarter.
This probably would have been more effective.
