I think it's funny people are saying Kobe took over the game - the only way he took it over was taking advantage of the calls in the 4th. Once the Spurs stopped shooting well and stopped being aggressive - which wasn't the defensive effort of the Lakers - the refs were spreading the home court love to the Lakers. Understandable, but to state that Kobe simply took over is simply absurd. The Spurs collapsed for no reason at all, and it was rather pathetic.

Spurs collapsed for no reason? Kobe coming out of the cage in the 2nd half and fucked them up w/ the mad skills, coming back from the 20 point deficit, that's what paralyzed the Spurs, and took the confidence outta them. Name me another player that can single handedly bring his team back from a 20 point deficit in a playoff game, against the defending champ. Jordan.

And don't make me laugh w/ your home court love BS. Spurs are notorious for getting away w/ everything w/ the cheap shots no matter where they play. I'm surprised Bowen didn't plant his feet under Kobe when Kobe got on fire in the 3rd quarter.

This probably would have been more effective.

hahahaha

Kobe taking advantage of calls during one quarter < Spurs taking advantage of calls during their ENTIRE "DYNASTY"

Ginobilis ankle is messing with him so bad. Hes going to retire in the next 2-3 years, I can feel it!

Oh, and last night confirmed one of my theories:

Last night when they did the "plugged in" on Popovich, what did he keep on saying to his players?

"Hack, Slash, Grab, thats what we need to do"

hmmmmmmmm, looks like my theory of the spurs using their deep bench to foul as much as they can is TRUE. They cant call EVERY foul!

Rondo stunk it up. Wow. KG disappeared in the 4th quarter.

Rondo is playing scared and hurting the team. You have to draw the D with a willingness to shoot the ball, if you want them to leave your teammates to guard you.

At least Ray got it going a bit. They gotta tighten the D and stop commiting to the Detroit ball fakes.

I cannot say who will win, but I would like the Boston Celtics to take it. I feel they have some very deserving players & there time has come.

Game 1 Celts:thumbsup:

BAH!

Aw, yeah! Game 2 Pistons!

Boston needs to win a road game or it's over.

From an outsider's perspective, what do you guys think of Rodney Stuckey? He's been a coveted rookie for the Pistons, but due to injury, he wasn't showcased during the season. I thought he was a difference maker in Game 2, playing with ridiculous amounts of confidence despite being a rookie.

He hit some very big shots and had more points than the entire Celtics bench. That's huge. I'm already a fan of him after watching him in the 2nd round. I hate the fact that Flip played Lindsay Hunter when he could've played Stuckey instead. I can't stand Hunter and I hope he leaves after this season.

Lindsey Hunter has been huge for us as well, especially when Chauncey went down. Dude is still a shut down defender at age 37 and he has hit some HUGE shots.

To think about it, don't know anyone who dislikes him

There was just no stopping the Lakers tonight. Even the shitty people they had in at the end of the game were making every basket. It was like the Lakers had sold their soul to the devil or something.

Was Ray Wise in the audience?
