They didn't choke. They just weren't that good.

The NFL today is a chess match. Belichck just couldn't pull one out of his ass today. The NFL died in 1994, and today proved it.

What happened in 1994?

He hugged coughlin and congratulated him. The clock still had 1 second, so they needed to run another play, but I think belichick just went to the locker room.

No I think they shook hands in that mess that was going on with 1 second left in the game. After that he left the field.

Yet you fuckers never give your o-line credit when Brady goes untouched and puts up record breaking numbers.

I've been praising the Pats OL all-season. It doesn't mean they get a pass in the SUPER BOWL, jackass.

knock your OLine all you want, a gracious loser would first acknowledge the giants DLine. the 4 downlinemen were AMAZING today.

I'm not ready to be gracious yet. This is a tough one to swallow.

Are you serious? The only reason you got this far is because of that line. The only reason you have a superbowl is because of one mister A. Vinitieri. What a POS.

What do prior games have to do with this loss? The Offensive Line was garbage tonight, on the biggest night of the year. It's for all the marbles, and they just flat out sucked.

Exactly. The o-line carried them the whole season. But Brady got the MVP and is the greatest QB ever. Moss broke the TD record. Wheres the talk of the o-line?

Brady doesn't have 20 seconds to through and proves he's nothing more than a system QB, just like a college system QB. Montana and Young put their teams on their back and led them to vicotry. They didn't rely on a kicker to win them 3 superbowls.

Cheer for those Celtics.

Well Montana didn't look that great once he left the 49ers & went to the Chiefs (no more Rice, Brent Jones, Roger Craig, John Taylor) and Steve Young didn't look that great with the Bucs before he went to the 49ers. So you can't really remove Montana & Young from the system argument.
The fuck you're talking about, Montana had great games while QB'ing the Chiefs.

from what i've heard, belicheck and coughlin are close, both were assistants to Big Tuna back in the day.

That asshole left the field before the game was over. He's the most CLASSLESS act in the NFL. His team is nothing but a bunch of cheaters and pathetic losers.

CHEERS!!!

Go ahead, flame me Pats fans. You're a bunch of losers who can't seal the deal

I guess his disappointment is understandable. A lossless season and then this. That said, I'm glad they lost.

That's basically what happen. The REF was pulling on Bill and letting him know that the game wasn't over.

What did Bill do? He ran off the field like a BITCH and wouldn't finish out the game. Just like the classless POS cheater he is.

2144 yards passing, 13 TD, 7 INT, 87.4 QB Rating & 3283 yards passing, 16 TD, 9 INT, 83.6 QB Rating in his 2 years compared to the #'s he put with the 49ers?

Show me one Superbowl where Montana or Young looked that MEDIOCRE. JUST ONE.

It didn't happen. Brady CHOKED. His line didn't show up, and HE CHOKED.

EDIT: NO OFFENSE, but your a fucking TARD if you have to compare an aging Montana and a young YOUNG to Brady to get any comparison

It was my belief that in the NFL you could not challenge a penalty or lack thereof. So how is it that Bill Belichick was able to challenge that NY had twelve men on the field? If a false start was called neither team could challenge the penalty to get it overturned. If there was a defensive player making contact with a receiver after five yards but there was no penalty the offense couldn't challenge the play to get a penalty called. What is different about what happened in the super bowl?

Congrats to the pats for a good year. You had an awesome run. BUT, cheaters never prosper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The media hyped up the PATS so much that they came crumbling down.

Well...I am ou of this thread. All I can say is this....

If you're a pats fan and are dissapointed by this season, then get the fuck off the wagon. It was a great season and a decent game.

Also, why do we still call them cheaters? It has been said time and time again, by people who actually played that game, that every time has done this.
