This entire football season was made worthwhile for me just in watching Belicheck slither off the field with his tail between his legs, before the game was even over, and then stand there stammering at the press conference. Priceless...just priceless.

Exactly. The o-line carried them the whole season. But Brady got the MVP and is the greatest QB ever. Moss broke the TD record. Wheres the talk of the o-line?

Brady doesn't have 20 seconds to through and proves he's nothing more than a system QB, just like a college system QB. Montana and Young put their teams on their back and led them to vicotry. They didn't rely on a kicker to win them 3 superbowls.

Well Montana didn't look that great once he left the 49ers & went to the Chiefs (no more Rice, Brent Jones, Roger Craig, John Taylor) and Steve Young didn't look that great with the Bucs before he went to the 49ers. So you can't really remove Montana & Young from the system argument.

The fuck you're talking about, Montana had great games while QB'ing the Chiefs.

2144 yards passing, 13 TD, 7 INT, 87.4 QB Rating & 3283 yards passing, 16 TD, 9 INT, 83.6 QB Rating in his 2 years compared to the #'s he put with the 49ers?

How can you draw that conclusion, based on numbers from Montana's twilight years . And he still played dam good, evan as an old man. Still had the Montana magic.

Im glad the Patriots lost. And I dont have to hear the crap about Brady being better than Montana.

It might've been his twilight years but Brett Favre put up very good #'s at the same age this season. I was just responding to the Brady is a "system qb". So let's say you put Montana on the Falcons instead of the 49ers & Bill Walsh West Coast System, how does Montana career go? It's speculation but I would say not nearly as good. The system can help you out tremendously, as well as the supporting cast. I'm just saying these things in defense of those who think Brady is simply a system QB. I think Montana is the greatest QB of all time, he was in the right place at the right time and Brady is getting into the conversation.
