Just to be fair to Brady, because he IS a player I admire, that video is done entirely out of context with the intent of making him look as bad as possible.

See the full video here:

And please do note that he shows respect to the Giants, mentions that they're very talented, and does NOT make any predictions.

I'm sure people will find things to gripe about, but I don't see anything "unclassy" in that clip.

I've said it before several times, but to be clear, my team is the Panthers, not the Pats. I had no investment (and still don't) in the Superbowl outcome. It was cool to see one of the biggest upsets in sports history (which the Giants very much earned), and it would've been cool to see a second undefeated NFL season.

People need to relax on this. It's a game, it's entertainment - it shouldn't raise pulses.

I thought the Giants had nothing to lose, and losing to an undefeated team would have been nothing to be ashamed of. I felt sorry for Brady; he is a class act. A lot of good guys on that team. I was so conflicted during the game, I was cheering for both teams.

I am not sure what you are, but you are certainly no Giants fan.

I am a Giants fan, but I am also a football fan. An opportunity to witness an undefeated team winning the Super Bowl is a treat, for all fans.

not for me, and not for a lot of fans.

Especially not if you claim to "be a Giants fan since the early 90's"

If you claim to be a fan of ANY team, how can you be "conflicted" as to which team to root for if your team is playing?!??!!?

I was "conflicted" as a Cowboys fan because I hate the Patriots AND the Giants, but HOW IN THE HELL can a "Giants fan" be conflicted who to root for?

TRUST ME, you are no Giants "fan" Ive seen and know Giants fans (I live in NJ) and you are no where even close to being one

I thought Strahan was alot less classy in victory than Brady was in defeat. First it was the snide comment after the game during the trophy presentation, then the "Strahan Stomp" today at the parade.. You just won the SB man, do it with some class.

I never saw any of the Yankees players acting like that during their 4 WS championships of the late 90's.

One of, if not the greatest upsets in SB & sports history will never be a footnote, especially consdering how dominating the Giants were over the pretender paper champs.

We had to listen to months of the endless Pats fanbois ignorant drivel over their supposed "greatest" team. Our prize was not only watchign them get their asses kicked all over the field, they also collapsed under the pressure and choked with the game on the line.

What are the Giants giving their players as compenstion, cans of soup? Give me a break, lets not get into the "they paid for their championships" argument. Every team plays under the same set of rules and have free reign on what/how they assemble their lineup.

And HOW does that have anything to do with how they acted after winning?

Point is, Strahan is acting like a jerk. He should take the victory with a little more class.

No the Yankee payroll has always been heads and shoulders above any teams, the 90's were no exception...

Did he go out and stomp on the Pats logo? Did he wave buhbye to the Pats as they dejectedly left the field?

No...he was happy and excited so he is celebrating

The Giants won what is arguably one of the greatest upsets in Superbowl history. Don't expect the talk about the game to die away in a day or two. And if so many Pats fans hadn't been complete tools leading up to the game, maybe there wouldn't be such gloating by Giants fans and all the non-Giants fans who were just happy to see the Pats lose.

So there is only one class of being a fan huh? Since you said so, it must be official!

Look, I was ecstatic that the Giants won, make so mistake. But I wouldn't have minded to see the Pats win either; it would have been witnessing history, something I could have told my kids about.

This game was unique in regards that the Pats were trying to something NO OTHER TEAM HAS DONE BEFORE.

Was I cheering every time Pats dropped a pass? Yes. When Giants were? No, of course not, I cringed.

Your scope of being a fan is so narrow it's mind boggling. Sure, I may not be as hardcore as some fans around you, but that doesn't me not a Giants fan.

Did someone forbid the other teams from spending as much money? How much money have the Mets spent on payrolll in the last 10 years? How many teams have they outspent in that time? How many world championships do they have in that time?

the point is, how can you make a claim about witnessing history and not see that this game will go down as one of the greatest in the history of SPORTS.

arguably this game was bigger than if the patriots won and capped off a perfect season.

You mean except for the Dolphins?

The Giants defeating an 18-0 team in the Super Bowl is JUST as unique.

Hey I never said it was "official"

How about I rephrase. In my opinion, you are no Giants fan. You are just a football fan with no REAL allegiance to any team.

I just cant fathom a "fan" of any team being "content" with their team losing under any circumstance. Period.

I agree with the giants statement, but if the Pats had gone undefeated, 19-0 is new territory. Who knows, if the '72 dolphins had had to ride it out for two additional games, maybe they would've been knocked off as well?

I think you could call either of the potential superbowl endings plenty unique, and I think you could definitely validly say that 19-0 had never been done before, because it hasn't.

who cares? This upset was more amazing than an 19-0 record. I definitely remember pats fans being total douches on this message board, so they deserve everything that they're getting now.

Ummm where did you get lost along the way? What did I say to make you think I am a Pats fan and that "my team lost?" I fucking HATE any and all New England area teams...

My team lost 3 weeks ago at home when McQuarters intercepted Romo's last pass of the '07 season.

Reading comprehension FTW!

And I think the Giants are going to regret their childish gloating.
Bellichek is gonna have 6 months to plan utter destruction.

What ifs don't count for the final outcome. The Giants were far, far, far from being a lucky team. As a Patriots' fan, I will concede that the Giants have made the greatest post-season run in all of football history. To beat a division winner, two top NFC seeds, and then the greatest offensive monster in NFL history is no small feat at all. Though Brady did make a game-winning drive, it doesn't count if the team didn't finish. The Giants played to win the game, and part of me admires the passion that they played with.
