And philly is in there too because, though I can't remember specific incidents, it's freakin' philly, whose fans have been known to boo santa claus.

Indy booed that 15 year old girl for wearing a pats jersey so they definitely move ahead of the pats in terms of 'most classless fans'

If it had been at Foxboro and she'd been wearing a Manning jersey NE fans would've booed, just like any fans would boo if she'd been wearing the jersey of the home team's biggest rival.

So how exactly does that justify the fact you're booing a 14-year old girl?

In addition, how do you know fans at Foxboro would do the same if the sitation was reversed? Oh yeah, you don't. You can't blame everyone who was in the stadium, but you can take off the shades and realize that what some of the Colts fans did was pretty crappy instead of side-stepping the issue and trying to play down what happened.

Since when was booing such a hurtful thing? What I saw on TV when they booed her is she chuckled surprisingly, but she had to know why they were booing. It seemed a pretty tame reaction, actually, it wasn't like they were throwing stuff at her and yelling obscenities. Sports is about competition and that means booing the opponent at every opportunity possible, if that girl doesn't understand that even after it was undoubtedly explained to her, she has bigger problems than being booed.

I really don't see how you can compare teams from any different era's. I promise you in 20 years almost any team in the nfl would be able to beat these Pats. Not only is the game evolving every year but the players do. Since 1970 the average weight of offensive lineman has gone up 60+ lbs. Not only are they bigger, but they are faster, stronger, and better schooled in the "ins and outs" of football. You can't score points or prevent a team from scoring if you are getting run over every play by a bigger, stronger, faster team. Records get shattered every year in every sport and it's not because of "magic" or "luck", it's because of advances in training and medicine.

I must have missed her name somehow on the Pats 53 man roster. Let me check and see if she's listed on the PUP and IR list.

Indy fans could have just sat quietly like they did when the other winners were announced. But apparently it worked out for her, as she and her family will be going to the AFC Championship game, unlike the Colts.

I absolutely HATE the New England Patriots. That being said, on an objective note, if they win every game left and go on to win the Super Bowl, there will be no denying that they are the National Football Leagues greatest team of all time.

Hands Down.

No, because then you guys won't "shut the fuck up" as you say. Of course, you wouldn't anyway, so it's nice to have to 72 Dolphins there to get under your skin.

That said, they probably are the best team of all time.

Yeah if the pats do win it all...they are 35 years younger than the 72 dolphins. Most of the 72 dolphins will be dead soon and we won't have to hear about it(man I sound like an ass right now), but if the pats do it, it'll be another 50 years of bla bla bla.

How can they be considered the greatest football team of all time? In fact, how can there be a single greatest team of all time? It is impossible to accurately compare football teams across generations to determine which one is better due to changes in rules, policies, and strategies.

That being said, if New England can win this year, I believe they should be considered one of the greatest teams of all time (at least in the Super Bowl era), along with Dallas, Pittsburgh, and San Francisco.

Definitely the best team of the Salary Cap/Free Agency era, regardless of how the next two games turn out.

All time: I'll consider it if they go 19-0.

Its just Boston fans in general.....with the Pats and Red Sox suddenly winning championships, they quickly forget that the Pats were everyones doormat and the Red Sox were perennial losers. Now all of a sudden its cool to be a Celtics fan too......morons.

Boston Fans < Philly Fans < New York Fans

having the best fans is something they'll never be good at, lol

What are you talking about? No one has forgotten. It just makes the championships that much sweeter!

In other news, Hatorade is now selling at $75/barrel.

The assinine hating and whining is very strong in this thread. It's so sad seeing so many seemingly intelligent people falls victim to blind hate and jealousy. It's OK, therapy would help, but I'm afraid it's too late for many of you and I sincerely do hope that you can live out the remaining of your miserable life with less hate.

you'd have to be a total tool to actually think it was "classless." I live in Boston and the pats fans I was with just laughed because it was funny. Not classless. Just sort of in good humor.

Bah, I heard the same kind of bullshit back in the late 80's about Niner and A's fans when I lived in the Bay Area.
