Was gifted tix for tonite's Oilers' game too.

Better seats, almost right in the middle, but meh, horrible game tonight; very poor effort on the Oilers' part.

Surprised it took so long for the Sens to tear us apart, & officiating, wow, we got fucked over badly all game long too.

My dad just told me that Quebec City mayor Régis Labeaume has reportedly been seen giving Islanders pins to kids at some juvenile hockey games. This is enough to have started a rumour in town that the Islanders might be on the move to Quebec. I know this is very little on which to base a rumour but I'll keep an eye on this. John Tavares would look good in a Nordiques uniform.

It's been a while since I've been so excited about a Devils game.

Devils have won 5 out of 5 against the Penguins this season, but tonight they're playing for first place in the division. Last week's game was intense.

And the Devils will be wearing their old red, white and green colors tonight. I don't know why it took them so long to think of that idea. They'll be showing highlights from the early years throughout the game.

Devils have won 5 out of 5 against the Penguins this season, but tonight they're playing for first place in the division. Last week's game was intense.

Lamorello has been averse to the team wearing anything but the standard home and away Jerseys because he sees it as unfair to fans that want to wear the same jerseys that the players wear, and would need to shell out more money. It's why we've never had 3rd Jerseys. I personally never really liked the old Christmas tree jerseys, but I'm sure it's great for some of the fans that rooted for those teams in the days of Patrik Sundstrom.

I'm not quite that old, but I do enjoy Chico's commentary during the games.

We started going to games in the late 80s when Sean Burke and Chris Terreri were the goaltenders. I remember my parents were pissed when they changed the colors, because we already had Devils apparel with the red and green colors, and that stuff was expensive.

I had a friend that I met at the arena, his seats were in section 218 and ours were in section 101; some periods we'd sit up in his section, and some periods we'd sit down in my section if there were open seats. At the end of each period we'd go to the door where the visitors and the officials left the ice, and if Pat Dapuzzo had a puck he'd usually give us one. I ended up with a pretty big collection of pucks.

Nowadays my parents would probably be arrested for letting me run around a hockey arena unsupervised.

What team should i root for in the playoffs?

Caps, Canucks, Blackhawks, or sharks. Ill choose canucks. They've been playing well but samuelsson is out with an injury, best line in the league just broked

The Penguins commentators were complaining that the Devils "want to win every game 2-1" because they've been a strong defensive team for so long. I think the Devils scored 22 goals in 6 games against the Penguins this year (gave up 5)

Just reading the comments on tsn... seems like it was a pretty vicious headshot.

Hawks just lost Campbell.... wow........ Seabrook would be a tremendous loss for them at this point in the season...
