I think Thomas and Johnson are toss ups at this point... I'd lean Thomas just because of his upside... but I'd feel pretty crappy about both of em.

Keeping in mind Washington effectively shut down Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw in Week 1, and held Steven Jackson without a TD (though 104yds on 17 carries) last week...

Rice was held to 37 yards on 8 carries last week and hasn't scored a touchdown yet.

Kevin Smith arguably is the better choice.

Is Domenik Hixon officially useless? I missed out on Manningham and was considering dropping him in favor of Chris Brown (Steve Slaton insurance).

I have him in one of my leagues and I am still on teh fence with him. This week should be a lot more telling of his value. The Giants play TB so they should be airing it out quite a bit. If Hixon isnt getting many passes going his way this week, hes being dropped by me for sure.

Who else is on waiver? I wouldn't reach for Brown just yet, would have to see outcomes of this week. Week 3 will be a turning point when it comes to evaluating FF rosters, at least for me.

Its a 14 team league so the cupboard is pretty bare. Im just worried Brown could have a breakout week in light of Slaton's ongoing stinkiness, and then I'll be racing for him with the rest of the fantasy sharks.

WR: Greg Jennings, Hines Ward, Mario Manningham, Lee Evans
TE: Anthony Gonzalez
K: Neil Rackers
Def: Green Bay, Pittsburg

Manning is a given.
I'm thinking Sproles and Smith for my RB's. Slaton has a favorable matchup this week though, but I'm not sure I want to get burned again this week. (Jinxed it now, he'll have a monster game won't he).
Jennings is pretty much a must start. The other three... well, just not sure. Also, on the FA list is Johnny Knox, Laurent Robinson, Mike Sims-Walker and Nate Burleson.
Only other question is defense. I'm thinking Pitt has the better matchup, given that the Rams haven't turned over the ball much at all this year.

This is a rather shallow league. There's lots of talent in FA land available. As listed, the WR roster is fairly available. Hightower is available on the RB list. Lots of depth is available.

RB2: (Hardest decision) By elimination: Cadillac is NOT starting this week.. T Jones is sharing alot and he's against Tenn, K Smith or Sproles... and it's kinda a toss up.. I'm leaning towards K Smith... I think he's the more talented runner.
WR: Manningham and Jennings
Def: GB St louis is just awful

well did you lose because you started the wrong lineup or there was no way you could've won regardless of who you would have started? plus it depends on how much you lose by ... so you never know!

lol....do not feel bad....i got killed on one of my games. I had no idea westbrook was gonna sit out and I started Melwede moore thing that it was over for Willie Parker.

Most of my games could have been won or much closer at least with 1 or 2 personnel shifts off the bench. Seriously though, how was I supposed to know that TO wasn't going to catch a single ball, or that Clinton Portis would suck against Detroit? Or better yet, Derrick Mason FINALLY hauling in a TD pass?

The kicker? AP pulling only 90 yards and no TDs, or Drew Brees having the shittiest of shitty days?

I think one or two leagues were just about a loss no matter what. But the big deal this week was lack of output by top fantasy studs.

Well, I bombed this week

Frank Gore is injured. I have depth at RB (Ronnie Brown,Marshawn Lynch, Felix Jones, and Hightower). I just picked up Glen Coffee though; I think he'll have big games in week 4 and 5 if Frank Gore doesnt play.

Also, I just dropped Chris Henry (WR) and picked up Heath Miller. My starting TE is Greg Olsen, but he has a bye in week 5.
