I need some advice. My friend is asking for Ray Rice & Terrell Owens and is going to give me DeSean Jackson & Cadillac Williams. Any feedback would be great.
You can't beat Rice right now. He's a rockin' RB, and pretty reliable whether the Ravens are going to be able to run the ball or whether they have to pass it (I believe he's #1 in receptions on the team right now?). Offloading Owens is a good deal, but I have a hard time saying the trade is worth it. Caddy just doesn't have a team that can provide consistency at RB. Any WR in my book is worth less points than a starting RB like Rice, even one like Jackson.
How hard up are you for a starting WR is the question, and does your RB stable support the loss in production you'd take from losing Rice? If you need a good WR, and have RBs to spare (as in Caddy will be at best a flex or bye-week play), then it's a good trade. If you're talking about starting Caddy week in and week out, I think you're probably getting the raw end of the deal.
