My RB section is pretty weak - Not sure if he'll bite but should I try to go for Westbrook instead of Felix Jones?
I know Westbrook is injured and it's on the same ankle he had surgery on ...

Thomas Jones NYJ
Derrick Ward TB
Jamal Lewis Cle
Petyon Hilis Den
Glen Coffee SF

I believe that Barber and Westbrook sustained some sort of injuries last week. Hillis is useless, and Coffee ... well, he's useless until Gore gets injured.

yeah, I'm looking to pick someone else up in place of Hillis, and yeah I'm keeping Coffee in case Gore gets hurt. We're in a 14 men league and there's hardly anyone to pick up.

Any thoughts on the trade proposal?
I get Felix Jones, and he gets Brett Favre? I'm okay w/ giving up Favre, I have Brees and Flacco as backup.

If you need RB's, then this is a pretty damn good deal considering your QB roster.

Ok, should I drop Matt Hasselbeck? I have Matt Ryan and it looks like he's going to remain my starter for the rest of the season.

I want to make room for 1 player on my team (Tashard Choice), and Hasselbeck seems like the only guy worth dropping. I don't have anymore backup QBs though

Who should I start this week for my WR's?

Need to start 2

Greg Jennings, Steve Smith (NYG), Roddy White

Smith is a must start IMHO against TB, so what about the other Jennings/White?

I wouldn't start smith. I would start jennings and white. White and Jennings are consistent (with the exception of Jennings' game last week, which was a fluke).

Steve Smith and Mario Manningham had 1 big game and everybody is making a fuss about them.

Both Manningham and Smith posted good numbers for both week 1 and 2. I wouldn't hesitate starting Smith. Arguably, Jennings and White are better choices for bigger numbers, but like all WR's, as Jennings proved, you can't count on numbers from them. With the Giants having injuries on WR, Smith and Manningham are pretty much the starters right now, and will at least get a consistent workload.

Yeah, Smith seems like he's gonna drop 10 points regardless (8pts last week 19 this week), whereas Jennings can drop 20 or a big fat 0

So, imho, the real question is who is WORSE against the pass, @NE, @StL, or @TB?

At this point, TB, as proven by both Dallas & Buffalo, then StL, then NE.

edit: Stupid ass timewarps. I'm in timewarp mode!

So, with that said, one league I have Hester, Jennings, Ward and Evans. Smith and Manningham are both available, as is Knox.

I'm thinking of dropping Hester for any of the three listed receivers.

Giants are a running team; who did they throw to last year after Burress was gone?

I am thinking the same thing, dropping Hester for Knox (Bennett is already taken). What are you going to do?

I would pick up manningham ASAP if i were you.

And once a team starts blitzing to stop the run - do you think they'll keep doing it? Seriously ...

Yes, they'll keep doing it; that's why every team wants 2-3 good backs, to wear down the defense.

If you can't spread out the defense, your running game is going to suck huge, period. I don't care if you have 2-3 good backs.

All the Giants did last year was run the ball. Jacobs, Ward, and Bradshaw ran up and down the field. How many times did Eli have to throw and make a big play? Defense's knew they had no passing game, and they still couldn't stop the run.

If you can wear down the defense with the run with multiple backs, you don't need to do anything else.

Probably taking Manningham for Hester. It's a small league, and only one guy has done any moves on free agents so far.

My biggest worry in a couple of leagues though is Slaton. Looks like Houston is still trying to put the ball in his hands, but it sure seems like Chris Brown is getting more of the workload. Where's my numbers from Slaton FFS!

I have DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart in one league. Worth playing together as RB1 and RB2?

My other RBs:

Darren McFadden
Chester Taylor
Tim Hightower (in flex spot right now, but can switch with Ocho)
Donald Brown

Damn. In the same boat as you. Slaton was my 3rd pick. Passed on several good WRs for him. And of course I'm short at WR becuase I had Gonzolaz as my 3rd WR. I'll probably keep Slaton for a few more weeks since I have a couple decent back-ups (Julius Jones, Sproles).

My roster today after waivers:
QB Tom Brady
WR Mario Manningham
WR Mike Sims-Walker
RB Ronnie Brown
RB Fred Jackson
TE Todd Heap
W/R Matt Forte
K Nick Folk
DEF Green Bay
BN Steve Smith
BN Roy Williams
BN Ben Roethlisberger
BN Owen Daniels
BN Jason Elam
BN Pittsburgh

Not happy with Pitts. with Troy P. out - the interceptions GB is picking up is giving them good points despite points allowed. I think I've covered pretty well despite my wife picking up some questionable picks for me on draft night - only issue is Brady and Ben have bye week the same week.

Is Leftwich or Palmer available to cover your bye week for Brady? Leftwich has been consistent and should only get better as his WRs get healty. Palmer made huge strides in Week 2 against a better team and a great defense. I think he'll get better as he gets more confidence in his leg.

trade question. fair deal? all td's are 6 pts
sending tom brady, brandon marshall, and larry johnson for mark sanchez, dwayne bowe, and steven jackson.

the trade essentially comes down to where you think marshall will end up. My guess is that with orton as qb, he wont be a top 20 wr. too early to say which is why i think the trade may be accepted.

for my part, i replace brady with matt ryan and upgrade marshall to bowe and push the PT cruiser to the flex spot and take LJ/jamal lewis out of the flex.

for him, he's replacing sanchez with brady, sjax with LJ and bowe with marshall.

he's also 1-1 with the second least points scored overall.
