I've been pulling out my money the last 2 weeks, might look to add some on my current holdings tomorrow depending how it goes.

with S&P breaking 1030, I think there might be a few more days of selling before it settles for a bit

my current holdings: LVS, MPEL, SRSR and of course RMBS!

been playing with the gaming sector lately and it's been treating me fairly well, hopefully the trend continues and get some nice earning reports in macau

All kidding aside, the next several months will be very interesting in RMBS land. RMBS will follow the market until relevant news comes out and/or when the trial commences. Until then, if the market goes for a correction or resume bear mode, I can see RMBS trading down below $10 again.

The obvious action is to sell and buy back in late Dec when all the trial action starts. The trouble, however, is that you leave yourself with no exposure to RMBS, and ANYTHING can happen in between. If this ends favorable, it could come surprisingly and without notice, and it might be too late to hop on the train.

Am I doing anything? I still have my shares as I stated... not selling due to my hunch that we're in for a downturn, but may buy some short-term RMBS puts to hedge against a downdraft of the market... but buy long-term calls to offset that.

SNWT has a good week. It doubled in less than 5 trading days and handled the consolidation extremely well.

I sold some of my shares to lock in my cost and some shares as trading profit. The rest I'm going to let it ride into the next couple weeks. Perhaps by the end of next week we'll see a push to $1.50-$2.00.

Do you guys use any stock alerts? Like for example if a ticker reaches so & so price, send an email or sms kinda setup. I have been looking around google finance & there portfolio manager but i dont seem to find that feature.

eTrade will do that from their website. But you need an account with them.

Both have issues but generally get the job done.

That seems like a lot of work to use MS Excel vs. the tools an online brokerage offers, then again, I'm not too fluent w/ Excel

more RMBS question for azurik and co. ... looks like there is unusually high options activity with RMBS, and it seems like plenty of folks are betting that it'll go down below $16 by 10/16 ... any particular news that would explain this volume?

Not that I know of... that date doesn't seem to be in line with any due dates/deadlines/decisions that I have on my calendar.

Option activity has been high recently anyway... with a lot of short-term puts and a lot of open interest in longer-term calls.
