Still kinda quiet at the Dallas mavs arena.
The thunder might have been able to absorb Dirk's godliness if not for Barea. Their defense against him was absolutely pitiful...letting him by and with little challenge at the rim, if at all. I guess part of that is the product of a big outside guarding dirk, but others have to help out.
Nowitzki 48pts and Durant 40pts. When`s the last time a player on each opposing team scored at least 40pts? That`s crazy. Good opening Wester Conference Final game.
what's w/ the weird apostrophes? How come you don't use the standard ' ?
Dirk is one of the greatest ever..

there are plenty of great players that have never won it all. regardless of the ring, dirk is still one of the greatest. He needs to win a ring before he gets those regards.
Dirk is one of the greatest ever.
I think I've been officially priced out of attending the playoffs in person. Tickets were batshit insane and parking cost me $30. A lot of the fans attending the game were just there because it was an event not because they are mavs fans. Me and my wife were the loudest in our immediate area while everyone sat on their hands and couldn't be bothered that there was a game going on. Didn't help that the person next to me took up half of my seat. I should have half my money back since the fat ass woman next to me took so much room. How is there not a rule where fat asses have to buy two seats? Lady barely put down her food long enough to stand for the national anthem then it was back to gorging and me basically sitting in my wife's seat so I could breathe.
Thankfully the mavs kicked some serious ass and it's pretty apparent they are the better team. Dirk is unstoppable right now and with all the offensive firepower they have I really don't see anyone stopping them. Kevin Durant is amazing. The Mavs or anyone else really have no way of stopping this guy. He has the full offensive package. Get close and he's blowing by you like you are standing still, not close enough and he's drilling a jumper, he can explode and get past you and stop on a dime then rise up and hit a jumper, he's got an awesome touch and floats in some Tony Parker type floaters. Durant doesn't get much help from anyone else and Westbrook looks really overrated. The Thunder also seem undersized. As far as Ibaka guarding Dirk good luck with that. He's way too small for Dirk and Dirk was even blowing by him with the drives.
Finals here we come!!
Westbrook is competitive and can be awesome when he gets it going but too often seems to be autistic in regards to running the Thunder as a team. He's such a double-edged sword.
I only saw the 2nd half last night, but Dallas sure can move the ball. Kidd's decisions are so quick and passes across court arrive in a blink...so tough to play. And the Thunder absolutely can not leave Terry...he can be so clutch and really get the team and crown going when he hits a timely shot. He doesn't need a lot of room either.
I love kidd's court vision. No doubt about his skills. The only small gripe I have with him is that sometimes he has a clear drive to the basket and could make an easy layup but decides to dish out the ball to someone on the perimeter. Now, usually this is a good move as it allows shooters to be open for a clear jumper, but occasionally he'll pass it out and it will get deflected or mavs won't get a clean shot and what he should have done is just do an easy layup.
But again, it's just a small gripe and his other abilities are amazing.
I love the way Dallas is playing this post season. So awesome. Like a whole new team.
