Way to go Dallas. That's the way they've got to play, where Dirk can have an off night, the refs can refuse to give him a call, and they can still win. Okc still made a game of it when they picked up their intensity and Dallas let off the gas, but Dallas only gave up 87 points and that's they way they need to play defense. And even tho it's nice if Dirk is making shots, they seem to stop moving the ball when they start going to him exclusively, and the rest of the team can cave like it did in game 2.
Go Bulls tonight!
Haslem definitely caught the Bulls off guard (and some bulls fans...) by having such an unanticipated impact, but what's done is done. Aside from his impact, key imo was that Luol Deng had a really crappy game and that's the first thing that needs to change. 2nd thing would be the Bulls taking their physical game to another level and get their rebounding edge back.
Game 2 really sucked, but wasn't a complete disaster as far as loses go...it was tied until the last few minutes and Miami still only scored in the mid 80's. Hopefully chicago will make adjustments where Rose can hit the lane closer to the middle...Miami did a great job sending him to the sides where there are minimal passing lanes and lots of weakside help up top.
I still have a lot of confidence in the Bulls this series, but after Wednesday, so should Miami. Props to them, especially Haslem for suddenly injecting himself this way into the series, and at this late point of the season after being sidelined so long.
