Welp, it's that "always win when they need to" time Lakers fans carry on about. I wonder how many I can find who would still bet me money that their Lakers will win the next 4 games.

If they get swept (what will happen) I guess that "always win when..." shit they say is just a pile of shit. Kobe will explode, he's gonna ask to be traded again, I hope the upper management has the balls to release his ass this time. Winning's important, but it's not everything. And he's the worst loser I've ever seen in the NBA. Lakers could replace him with a dude who actually cares about his team, something Kobe only does when they're on top.

I think he is great. Opinionated, funny and knows basketball. The JVG, Jackson, Breen combo is my favorite in basketball now that Bill Walton retired. The Marv Alberts and Steve Kerr combo is a pretty good team too, Kerr is really coming into his own now.

What don't you like about JVG?

He looks like he just wants it to be over, but I guess thats to be expected with the knowledge that teams down 3-0 have a record of 0-98 in the history of NBA playoffs.

I will be surprised if the Mavs don't sweep, it will just be so hard for the Lakers to stay in it emotionally knowing there chances are slim and none.

I find it funny that on the talk radio stations, all these lakers fan call up and argue that the lakers are the best thing to ever happen to sports and that Kobe should be the 400 time mvp of the league...then when presented with stats that contradict any argument they are making, they go silent then just talk louder, as if that will convince people.

Mavs are all heart. They just have a belief they can win in any situation against anyone. I thought for sure the Lakers were going to win last night but the mavs never lost their cool and came back and won it. The lakers have to be shaking their heads in disbelief. They outplayed the mavs for 95&#37; of the game and end up losing it anyways.

Was I the only one who noticed how biased the espn broadcasters were? They did everything but suck the Lakers off. Everything was about how the Lakers just aren't doing this or that instead of actually giving the Mavs any credit.

Yeah it's kinda sad that most ppl are saying "oh lakers aren't doing well" when that is only partially true. Mavs should also get credit for playing really well against Lakers and Carlise making good adjustments. Mavs have been so determined to win that they are just coming back from any deficit or just controlling the game from the start. Sure both teams could play better, but to not give the Mavs any (if not ALL) the credit for these wins is just ridiculous.

It was worse than the Denver loss watching it live. 7 turnovers, and tons of possessions in the fourth where he walked the ball up and took a contested shot without even passing out to a teammate. A couple times he tossed a token pass only to turn around and ask for the ball right back. Memphis' defense tightened up some, but mostly it was Westbrook making it easy for them to get stops.

Ok so Wade took out Rondo now he's trying to pull the rug out from under Ray Ray. Terrible injury to Rondo. These athletes are incredibly flexible and resilent....but I'm guessing it's a serious elbow sprain and he's done for the series/season.
