This point will be looked back on as a learning experience for Rose...if they lose. Missed the free throw, if Miami scores ... Unreal

Well that was a textbook example of a meltdown. Bottle that shit up, stick it on a shelf, and look at it next season.

Good game Cryami Weep and the big 6. Bosh, Wade, James and the refs

The bulls are a great young team, but they need to get a couple of more pieces and some more experience.

The problem is - someone's going to have to pound the playground shit out of Rose for him to be the key to winning a title.

He does what we all do in tense situations: reverts back to what he's comfortable with, what's worked in the past. There's a lot of unlearning to be done there.

Whatever, I hope the Heat bandwagon fans enjoy their 4 game sweep at the hands of Dirk and the Mavs

KD and DRose, two young superstars, both got some great experience this post season and will hopefully learn and grow from it.

I feel sorry for Chicago though...wish they won at least this game. I wasn't sure if they would have beaten Miami, but I wanted them to get at least 2 wins.

it was the refs....yeah....that was it. how about the MVP missing a free throw to tie it? How about the MVP turning the ball over...how bout the MVP missing the last shot?

cry me a river...

There are some legit complaints about officiating in basketball, but mostly it evens out. Anytime a team wins 4-1 you can't pin it on the refs. A 4-3 series, or even a few 4-2 series can qualify (such as the Heat/Mavs in '06).

I just looked at the Finals schedule and it is 2-3-2. I hate that so much.

If you had watched either the Miami - Philadelphia series or the Miami - Boston series, you'd know why Miami has such a huge disparity in free throw attempts in these playoffs. Both of those teams settled for midrange jumpshots while Miami consistently attacked the paint. You aren't going to take many trips to the line if you're shooting uncontested midrange jumpers as opposed to taking it strong to the hole. It's not the refs fault that Boston and Philly weren't aggressive; are they supposed to call an equal number of fouls per team regardless of what's happening on the floor? That's just asinine.

So Mavs get just one more day to rest compared to the Heat. It's going to be a great match-up to watch.

Congrats to Miami. The Bulls got the crap beat out of them when it counted and the best team won.

It was a fairy tale season in many respects for the Bulls, so there is nothing for them to hang their heads about.

This series should humble the management and motivate them to do some things to this roster to take a load off of Rose and Deng, who played a tremendous amount of minutes this year. Without this @ss-kicking, it may have led them to think nothing urgent was required.

Heat-Mavs should be an exciting series, particularly with how well the stars are playing. I didn't care about Miami before and don't care about them now, and my support is 100% for the Mavs.

I think it's time for Chicago to start preparing for a serious conversation with Orlando next month.

what do you think it would take for orlando to accept?

Orlando should be able to tell Chicago to F off, but if Howard is gonna push out they have no choice. Draft picks, maybe some cash, and one of Deng, Noah, or Boozer should be enough. Howard supposedly favors the Lakers though, plus the Bulls need offense, not more defense.

OJ Mayo would be a great fit I think.

Jamal Crawford is a free agent this year. He's old(is), injury prone(is) and an even more emaciated frame than Kevin Durant...but the guy can score. He might be worth a bench add. He can shoot over the top of people better than Korver.

And yes, nothing to be ashamed of for Chicago. Excellent regular season. First time head coach. 22 year old star and a bunch of other 2nd tier support. Eastern Conference finals and being competitive against a team as star studded as Miami? Yeah that's not a bad run. Hopefully Tibs takes some criticism to heart, works on running the offense better, and Gar Foreman can work a little magic from the front office to get some more firepower in there.

Go Mavs!
