He also had a TRIPLE DOUBLE, yeah his 4th quarter was horrible. But a Triple Double in a finals game is nothing to sneeze at, in fact it's incredibly impressive. I don't think any other player on either team can claim one of those tonight.

Anytime a team hits 70% of their threes, and the 2nd best player on the other team is out over a quarter they are gonna win the game.

Dallas was on fire but Wade being out killed the game for Miami, and even with him out it was still only a 7 point win.

Give the mavs a little credit. The open threes were because of the superb championship caliber passing and penetration.

Honestly though it means next to nothing when you lose. Heat bench actually managed to outscore the Mavs bench 40-32, so the bench showed up when they noticed Wade was hurt. Lebron just can't waste possessions when he doesn't have his shot in the 4th like that. Bosh missing FT's in the end didn't help either.

If they lose this Finals, it'll haunt them. Huge opportunity when no one expected them to get to the Finals their FIRST year considering all the injuries to key role players. To make it all the way and just collapse in the 4th. Just don't know what to say.

I think whatever poster it was a few pages back that mentioned the refs are trying to keep the games close just may be right. The whistles were coming in so late all game long, only being blown after a shot was missed. This happened on both ends of the floor and was downright infuriating.

Not all of their threes were open, and in most games (Mavs games included) teams don't knock down 70% of open threes. Penetration and passing to open wing guys is a staple of basketball at any level.

Are you really trying to act like, or suggest, that the Mavs should be expected to hit 70% of their threes during games with consistency?

I'll say it again, maybe more clearly, if any team hits 70% of their threes in a game, they will win. I don't think Miami or anyone would have any hope of beating the Mavs tonight, not while they are knocking down threes at that rate.
