In all seriousness though, I don't think too many folks saw this coming.
It's pretty clear that LeBron is not exactly on the level of Jordan or even Pippen. I think Pippen may be a little jelly of Jordan getting most of the credit for the Bulls wins, even though Pippen himself was probably one of the best 20 or so players ever to walk the court. Jordan though, he's easily top 3, and in many people's minds, #1. I can't really think of a better choice. The man just came through in clutch game after clutch game and didn't get shut down by pressure. Granted, it took some years to build up to that level. Didn't it take him 7 years to get the first title? Perhaps LeBron will rise to that level, but personally I just don't see it in him. There's some kind of 'magic', for lack of a better word, that shines through in ;egendary players that can stand at the top with absolutely maximum pressure, and it makes them even better. As much as I'm not a fan of Wade, I see more of that in him than "King" James.
